Prong returned to The Forge in Joliet, IL (near Chicago) as direct support for Overkill on their US Tour. Fresh out of a pandemic, Prong went on and put on an awesome set that the crowd absolutely loved.
Overkill – Live at The Forge (Joliet, IL)
The mighty thrash legend Overkill returned to The Forge in Joliet, IL (near Chicago) on March 10, 2022 and put on an amazing hour and 45 minute set. The band still delivers the goods even after 40 years. If you’ve never checked out Overkill, and like bands like “old” Metallica, Megadeth, Exodus and Slayer give them a listen. I’ll admit, that I recently got into them, so some of my favorite songs are from more recent albums, but definitely give “Mean Green Killing Machine” and “Ironbound” a listen.
