Agarwaen´s album release tour brought the creepy clowns to Maanalainen, Tampere, on Halloween´s eve. The party was opened by the Melodic Death Metal Ignis Eternum- that performed in creative costumes, and it was beautifully closed by Warfarer that was also promoting their newly released single “Sons of North”.
As soon as you would get to the location, you could sense something was off. It was not the usual underground vibe: shady people walking around the venue, half clowns half creatures escaped from the asylum of horror wearing dirty straitjackets, barely keeping contact with reality, drainage bags and blood bags hanging, random messages on carboards, the wall wrapped in plastic and even a terrifying cotton candy cart. It felt like the beginning of a horror movie, but played live.
Agarwaen climbed to the stage and the horror show began: lobotomies, shootings, stabbings and pure terror in the eyes of the performers, so well performed that the heavy music was only a background detail at some point. The audience was amused and totally absorbed in the show, eating cotton candy and headbanging at the rhythm of insanity.
The show was a great success despite there being no casualties or ritual sacrifices.
