Bloodred Hourglass declares war on empty promises – The Crown Is Permanent and its magnificent

Modern metal powerhouse Bloodred Hourglass is releasing a new single. The band treated their fans to rave reviews with the single We Should Be Buried like This earlier this spring, and now they’re following it up with the downright angry The Crown Is Permanent.

“Sometimes all it takes is a spark – and everything explodes. The Crown is Permanent is a dark and angry song that rages on the edge of chaos. Its raw, forward-flowing energy shows no mercy as the brutal guitar riff and jagged synth world violently strike your hand. Lyrically, it’s a declaration of war on false revolutions, empty promises and those who just go along with it. It’s about not being a pawn in someone else’s game – and how you can build something stronger from betrayal. ‘The floodgates are open. Let them learn.’”

Bloodred Hourglass, originally from Mikkeli, will be seen on live stages this weekend, when the band headlines the Black Box Mikkeli event they host: on Friday, Balance Breach and LUNA KILLS will perform at Kulttuuritalo Tempo, and on Saturday, in addition to Bloodred Hourglass, Enemies Everywhere will open the night. After the summer festivals, the band is heading on a European tour and has now revealed that the tour will also continue in Finland: ten gigs are planned for October-November around Finland. Ticket sales for the events will start on Monday, April 28.

New music from Bloodred Hourglass – We Should Be Buried Like This is an apocalyptic metal cannonade

Bloodred Hourglass, a modern metal powerhouse who recently returned from a successful European tour with The Halo Effect and PAIN, is releasing new music! The band’s previous album How’s The Heart? garnered millions of streams on streaming services, plenty of radio airplay and an Emma nomination, and now they’re looking towards the new and the future. The lineup’s latest single is called We Should Be Buried Like This, and its intense metal cannonade is guaranteed to not leave heavy music fans indifferent.

“We Should Be Buried Like This is a fierce combination of old and new BRHG sounds that mercilessly hits you straight in the face. The song’s melody and structure were carefully honed, and the end result is definitely our strongest production to date. The lyrics and the song’s title crystallize the theme of an inevitable end, which also reflects the world around us,” the band says.

“We wanted an honest music video that fits the theme of the song, and that also visually conveys the mood and charge of the song. Our trusted collaborator Riivata Visuals was responsible for the explosive final result.”

Known for their intense live shows, Bloodred Hourglass will be touring extensively throughout the spring and summer, both in Finland and abroad. In April, the band will be seen in their hometown of Mikkeli, where they will host the two-day Black Box Mikkeli presents event, which will also feature Balance Breach, Enemies Everywhere and LUNA KILLS.
