Enemies Everywhere Video Interview

The deathcore band Enemies Everywhere has released its highly anticipated, self-titled debut album. Formed in 2022, the band made a name for itself within the Finnish metal scene with the EP ‘Endless Discord’, released two years ago, which ushered in a new wave of Finnish deathcore, defined by an approach of relentless aggression.
Last year, during the album’s creative phase, the lineup underwent a change: Sasu Mikkola joined the band as the new vocalist. Following this transition, Enemies Everywhere focused even more intensely on developing their musical identity, refining their sound, and putting the finishing touches on the record.
During one of the stops on their tour in support of the album, the band sat down with The Offering to discuss the creative and recording process behind their debut, the challenges they faced during its production, how Sasu’s arrival created an immediate, perfect synergy, how the promotional tour is going, and what lies ahead for them in 2027.

Enemies Everywhere & Lastout live at Meara Klubi, Pori (Finland) 24.10.2026

On Saturday, October 24th, Meara Klubi brought two highly compelling bands to the city of Pori, in southwestern Finland: Enemies Everywhere and Lastout.

Opening the evening were Lastout, a metal band from Tampere formed in 2022 and composed of five teenagers. Despite their youth, the band has high ambitions, already leaving a unique and distinctive mark on the scene. Their technical proficiency, paired with the lead singer’s crystalline vocals, immediately captivated the audience and set the tone for the night. Although the absence of a bassist was somewhat noticeable, detracting slightly from the overall sound, the band still delivered an admirable performance.

Hailing from the Finnish capital region, Enemies Everywhere offer an incredibly fresh take on Finnish deathcore. Their mission is to highlight the best elements of hard-hitting deathcore, blending them with a signature style that incorporates rhythmic breakdowns, high-impact choruses, and symphonic arrangements.
Fresh off the release of their debut album, the band embarked on a tour across Finland, which included a stop at Meara Klubi. Their performance was powerful; the band knows exactly how to engage a crowd, with many moments where the audience followed their lead´, such as dropping into a squat before jumping up in unison.
The evening was a success in every aspect.

Enemies Everywhere Released Self-Titled Debut Album

The four-piece deathcore band Enemies Everywhere have released their highly anticipated self-titled debut album. Formed in 2022, the band first made their mark on the Finnish metal scene with their Endless Discord EP, released two years ago, introducing a new wave of Finnish deathcore with a relentlessly aggressive approach.

Last year, the band underwent a lineup change as Sasu Mikkola took over vocal duties. Following the change, Enemies Everywhere turned their focus even more strongly towards developing their own musical identity, refining their sound and putting the finishing touches on the album. The result is a self-titled release that sees the band’s sound taking on a stronger and more distinctive form than ever before. Today, Enemies Everywhere proudly present their nine-track debut album.

“The release of the album is an important milestone for us, as we spent a long time refining the songs and developing our own sound for the record. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing people enjoy our music when we finally get to play these songs live! It’s an honor for us to be part of the Finnish extreme metal scene, which is alive and thriving.”

The album features six brand-new tracks alongside the previously released singles Undead Masquerade, Atonement and My Vengeance. At the heart of the album is the band’s and record’s title track, Enemies Everywhere. Check out the music video here.

“If someone could only listen to one song from us, then “Enemies Everywhere” is the right one! The track captures the essence of what the band represents: modern extreme metal with an uncompromising attitude. The meaning behind the song is written in its title, and it also reflects the foundation of what the band stands for. Whatever you pursue in life, you can never please everyone — there will always be someone with something negative to say. There are always enemies everywhere. As cliché as it may sound, you have to follow your own path and make decisions based on what feels right to you, rather than trying to satisfy the people around you. That is exactly what we have done with this band from the very beginning. ‘Fuck your satisfaction’.”

Enemies Everywhere releases the single My Vengeance and announces the debut album

The Helsinki-based deathcore band Enemies Everywhere have released a new single, My Vengeance, and simultaneously announced the release of their debut album. The self‑titled debut will be out on August 28, showcasing the developmental process the band has gone through over the past couple of years.

“The whole band, including everyone behind the scenes, has been waiting for the release of the debut album like the rising moon. The process behind making the album was at the same time challenging but rewarding; painful but cathartic. During the process we learned a lot about each other as people, friends, and band members. The debut album is proof of what the band has grown into over the past years – which is why the only right name for the record is Enemies Everywhere.”

The single My Vengeance points the way toward the upcoming album:

“The album’s third single, My Vengeance, is a testament to Enemies Everywhere’s career and new direction. The song condenses the sound of the previously released singles and the entire album, accompanied by a versatile and heavy arrangement. The sharp‑eared fans may recognize the track from our early‑year live shows, and now we finally get to release My Vengeance for everyone to hear!”

Enemies Everywhere’s summer shows will begin in a few weeks in Lahti, and the autumn album release will be celebrated with a Finland tour announced later.

Hailing from the Finnish capital area, Enemies Everywhere offer a unique and fresh take on Finnish deathcore. Enemies Everywhere have a mission to use the best elements of hard deathcore, while bringing their own mix of rhythmic breakdowns, huge choirs and symphonic arrangements.
The band formed in 2022 and quickly made a name for themselves in the Finnish metal scene, in January this year they signed with Ranka Kustannus and the following month they played their debut show in Jyväskylä. Their first EP release is scheduled for the fall, in the meantime they are writing new music and collecting concerts.

Enemies Everywhere & Split Iris live at Monttu New Level, Pori (Finland)

The legendary Monttu bar in Pori, after years of closure, has reopened under the name Monttu New Level, the summer calendar covers genres ranging from the softest rock to the most extreme metal in order to please everyone with more and less known bands. On July 12th we from The Offering were there to attend the concert of Split Iris and Enemies Everywhere.
Split Iris combines the most central characteristics of modern metal with the band’s passion for discovering new creative paths for musical self-expression, creating a unique and recognizable identity for the band’s sound. This show served as a release party for their debut album “Bloodred Dusk”.
Founded in early 2022, Enemies Everywhere quickly found their way to the ears and lips of tens of thousands of listeners, inspired by their first single releases. The band utilizes the best aspects of deathcore in their music, including rhythmically interesting breakdowns, massive choirs and symphonic orchestral arrangements.
