Swedish hard rock band Nestor returns with a new feel-good 80s smash “In The Name Of Rock’n’Roll”, just in time for the endless summer nights!
The music video was shot in South Africa.
The song flirts with wistful nostalgia, melodic AOR sound and references to the golden age of classic rock.
“In The Name of Rock’n’Roll is a song you play on repeat on a sunny afternoon at your best friends’ barbecue. It’s also the perfect song to sum up the past four years of brotherhood in the name of rock’n’roll,” the band says.
Originally formed in 1989 but then dormant for over three decades, the band made a spectacular comeback in 2021 with their debut album Kids in a Ghost Town. Last year, the great success continued with the Teenage Rebel album, and the band was seen touring around the world and performing with KISS, Europe, Def Leppard and Alice Cooper, among others.
This summer, the band will return to Wacken, among others, and will support Europe with two shows in Sweden.
