SOiL joins the Better Noise Music roster – New single “Enemy X” out now

Better Noise Music has added another band to its ranks: SOiL, formed in Chicago in the late 90s, has joined the label’s roster—a lineup already packed with internationally successful acts. Other bands on the Better Noise Music roster include Sabaton, Five Finger Death Punch, In This Moment, The Rasmus, and The HU.

The band’s bassist, Tim King, says the group is thrilled about the new signing:

“What else is there to say? Better Noise Music is the best at what they do. It’s a dream come true to get to work with Allen Kovac and his top-tier team. We can’t wait to release new SOiL material with them.”

Over the course of more than three decades, SOiL has released seven full-length studio albums, selling over 2 million copies. However, fans have had a long wait for new music; it has been over a decade since the band last released an original track. SOiL has certainly not been resting on its laurels, though—in the meantime, they have released a compilation album, a covers album, and ‘Restoration’, an album featuring re-recorded tracks. Furthermore, the band has remained active, touring internationally throughout the years.

The hiatus from new releases ended now with the arrival of the new single, “Enemy X.” Tim King describes the track as a mouthpiece for all the negativity currently unfolding in the world. Driven by its riffs, the song also offers a taste of the full-length album due for release next year.

“Fighting, chaos, finger-pointing—so many people are so fixated on drama and the negative aspects of life that they lose sight of what’s truly important. This leads to anger, confusion, and, ultimately, bitterness. As the lyrics ask: ‘Do you even know who you’re fighting against? Do you even know which side you’re on?’ We want to encourage people to examine their own actions and thoughts. The world needs that right now,” King states.

Following the release of this brand-new track, SOiL is heading to the UK for a headline tour. The 15-date run will also feature their new label-mate, Finger Eleven.
