Royal Sorrow releases Innerdeeps album on September 26th – Release Your Shadow single and video kick off album pre-sales

Finnish Royal Sorrow, who have made a convincing start to their international career, will release their debut album Innerdeeps on September 26th. The band, who have awakened the progressive modern metal community with their technical prowess, quite immersive soundscapes and melodic hooks, also reveal their new single Release Your Shadow.

“This song is in a way a celebration of individuality and a journey towards accepting imperfection. Release Your Shadow encourages us to face our own dark sides and recognize them as an essential part of ourselves instead of suppressing them,” the band describes.

Royal Sorrow, who skillfully harnessed dynamics as their playground, was seen at their debut gig in Tuska at the end of June, in October, Royal Sorrow will head out on their first European tour together with Leprous.

The single “Release Your Shadow” also features a music video made with the band’s credit director Jaro Koho.

The album’s pre-sale and the band’s own webshop has opened, with more products to be added in the fall. The physical version of Innerdeeps will be released as a limited plastic-free CD edition and transparent neon orange vinyl.
