SOULS OF DIOTIMA Surprise Release New Single ‘Senza Rancore’ – A Metalcore/Retro Wave Explosion Exposing the Metal Industry

The new single, sung exceptionally in Italian, is the third track anticipating the album “Arcade”, set to be released in October via Diotima Records.

A bolt out of the blue for the metal and alternative scene:
“Senza Rancore”, the new single by Souls of Diotima, is surprise-released today across all digital stores and streaming platforms.

Released under Diotima Records, the track marks the third stepping stone toward the band’s highly anticipated new album, titled Arcade and set for release this coming October, following the two previous singles “Run Away” and “Revenge”, which marked the first two steps of the group’s shift into Modern Metalcore.

A Sonic Experiment Without a Parachute:
“Senza Rancore” is a highly experimental track. Musically, the song combines the sonic impact and aggressiveness of Modern Metalcore with the synthetic, dark, and nostalgic atmospheres of Retro wave.

Adding to the hard-hitting nature of the track is the linguistic choice:
it is only the second song in the band’s entire discography to be sung completely in Italian. A precise, visceral decision designed to deliver the message directly and without narrative barriers.

A Magnifying Glass on a Microcosm Bound to Implode:
The lyrics of “Senza Rancore” shed light on and analyze, through a lens and without much filtering, certain “peculiarities” of the music industry surrounding the Metal scene, which, according to the band, represents a very specific microcosm bound to implode from within.

“The metal industry has become a closed microcosm, often suffocated by obsolete logic, pretenses, and toxic dynamics,” states the band. “With this song, we wanted to analyze the sector under a magnifying glass, surgically and without filters. There is no hatred, but rather the awareness of a system that, by continuing down this path, will inevitably end up imploding from the inside. We titled it ‘Senza Rancore’ [No Hard Feelings] precisely because it isn’t an impulsive
attack, but a lucid and bitter snapshot of reality.”

Towards the Release of Arcade:
With this high-impact single, Souls of Diotima raise the bar of expectations even higher for Arcade, promising a mature, eclectic album free of artistic compromises.

Power metal force Iron Savior share new single “The Creature’s Tale” from upcoming album “Deathbringer” out November 13

German power metal force Iron Savior share today their new single and official video, “The Creature’s Tale”, the second taste of the upcoming album “Deathbringer”, out on November 13,2026, via Frontiers Music Srl.

Vocalist Piet Sielck said: “Of course the classic Frankenstein story has been told in many ways before, but it appears to never loose it’s fascination, especially in our modern world with biogenetic manipulation and artificial intelligence. What it’s life? This question hasn’t been answered yet sufficiently… I was really inspired by the Netflix movie in 2025, especially from the last part when the story is narrated by the creature… The Creature‘s Tale.”

Pre-Order “Deathbringer” HERE

Hamburg-based Iron Savior have long established themselves as one of Europe’s most consistent and productive power metal bands. With their monumental new studio album “Deathbringer”, the band around Piet Sielck has more than one reason to celebrate: following the third instalment of the “Reforged” series, for which Iron Savior completely re-recorded the songs from their Noise Records era, as well as a covers album, the band now presents a brand-new studio album.

This next chapter in the band’s history finds Iron Savior in outstanding form – full of energy, punch and soaring anthems. In support of “Deathbringer”, the band will also hit the road together with Mystic Prophecy. And this certainly should not go unmentioned: the band is celebrating 30 years of Iron Savior.

As usual, Piet Sielck once again produced the album himself – at his own Powerhouse Studio, a well-established name in the field of powerful metal productions and a place that has long been inseparably connected to the sound of Iron Savior. With “Deathbringer”, the band delivers the perfect successor to their successful 2023 album “Firestar”.

What unites all songs on the new album is their anthemic character – always one of Iron Savior’s greatest strengths. “Climbing Higher” provides a powerful motivational boost, excursions into melodic speed metal territory such as “Light In The Dark” are present as well, and the fast, high-energy title track “Deathbringer” immediately grabs the listener’s attention. The stomping, relentless “Creature’s Tale” also stands out as another highlight of the album.

With “Deathbringer”, Iron Savior also return to the concept album format. After 200 years of peace, the galaxy once again stands on the brink: the Shadows, an insectoid species and ancient enemy of mankind, have returned. Aboard the gigantic Deathbringer vessel, their immortal Queen has preserved the last remnants of her species inside an eternal digital hive – sustained by the life force of countless worlds. Now the Iron Savior and the Alliance must face an enemy more powerful than ever before.

Musically and narratively, “Deathbringer” brings together everything Iron Savior have stood for over the past three decades: powerful power metal, huge choruses, sci-fi grandeur and a band that, even after 30 years, has lost none of its energy.

Finnish diverse melodic metal band Dreamferno releases new song featuring a breakbeat artist in an unexpected collaboration

Finnish diverse melodic metal band Dreamferno has released new song “Ark Of Engrams”. Melodic and heavy song represents the faster progressive groove of the band with an unexpected flavor: a delicate hint of breakbeat.

The breakbeat-inspired section of the track was produced by Helsinki-based DJ/producer Eronn (Veeti Eronen), known in Finland’s underground electronic music scene and through the Joensuu-based Fiktio ry. With over a decade of production experience, he brings a fresh touch to Ark Of Engrams with breaks-driven drums and psychedelic vocal effects.

Listen to the single on music services (Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal, Deezer, YouTube Music etc.): https://push.fm/fl/dreamferno-arkofengrams

Dreamferno tells about the new song:

The Ark of this song, Ouroboros, is a living psychological entity that builds and feeds upon the unpleasant memories buried deep within the psyche of the person stranded aboard it. As one sails upon Ouroboros, time and one’s sense of self become distorted, and escape feels almost impossible. Yet somewhere in the distant, mist-shrouded horizon, the light of a lighthouse can be seen…

Dreamferno is a group of friends from Finland’s Savonia and Karelia regions, united by a shared passion for creating music where rules are nonexistent and almost nothing is forbidden.

Taiwan’s biggest metal band, CHTHONIC, and Finnish singer Mariska have created a hard-hitting track; the single “Näin Määrättiin” draws on tragic human stories from both countries.

Taiwan’s biggest metal band, CHTHONIC, and Mariska released a surprise collaboration track titled “Näin Määrättiin” (Thus It Was Ordained). This marks the first time ever that Mariska has featured on an extreme metal song.

Although the new track was inspired by the final words Taiwanese prisoners of conscience wrote to their loved ones before their executions, vocalist Freddy Lim realized that—despite historical differences—Finland’s history also holds similar, heart-wrenching stories of separation, loss, and survival.

Delving deeper into the subject, Freddy made a surprising discovery: during the Winter War, Finland’s resistance was frequently reported on in *Taiwan Minpo*, the first newspaper founded by Taiwanese people. At the time, Finland’s struggle against overwhelming odds offered inspiration and encouragement to Taiwanese readers. Many of those readers later became prisoners of conscience in the late 1940s.

The idea that people across the globe could share the same emotions and struggles—and even inspire one another—deeply resonated with Freddy. Around the same time, he became acquainted with Mariska and grew interested in her artistry and poetic lyrical style.

“This reminds me of my good old punk hardcore days; it’s a truly interesting experience!” Mariska continues: “When I first listened to CHTHONIC, their powerful music and videos made a deep impression on me. So, when they contacted me and proposed a collaboration, I agreed almost immediately.”

“I hope listeners can feel the sorrow in the song but also find solace in it. Death is something we all have to face sooner or later, and none of us can avoid it.”

The band’s other key songwriter and guitarist, Jesse Ulas Liu, adds:

“I think this is CHTHONIC’s first love song. It is a love song filled with conflicting emotions—sorrow, guilt, regret, despair, and hopelessness. Although the song still bears CHTHONIC’s signature style, we’ve also incorporated many new elements. I hope our fans find it refreshing.”

During the composition process, bassist Doris Yeh once again finalized the original demo by Freddy and Jesse, helping to shape the track just as she had for the band’s recent releases. “We no longer rush to release music the way we used to. Now, we finally have the opportunity to work carefully on each song, one by one. I really value the fact that we can still make music together, so I wanted to give careful thought to every detail,” says Doris Yeh, adding that she also discovered a surprising connection to Mariska through the latter’s well-known song “Terveisin Doris.”

The members of CHTHONIC are currently literally split between opposite sides of the globe, with Freddy and Doris living in Helsinki and the rest of the band in Taipei.

“Freddy still sends messages on every possible platform!” Dani laughs. “It still feels like he’s right here with us. But that’s a good thing. That attitude keeps us moving and drives us to create new music.”

The music video for the song “Näin Määrättiin” premiered  at the Air Guitar World Championships’ Dark Horse Video Show and at the Oulu Music Video Festival.

Freddy Lim, who serves as Taiwan’s representative in Finland, has participated in several events within the European Capital of Culture program in Oulu this year, where he has also given speeches.

“In previous events, I’ve mostly expressed my thoughts through words. Thanks to a kind invitation, I now have the opportunity to express my emotions through music as well,” says Freddy Lim.

Industrial metal powerhouse King Satan releases Fire in the Hole song made with the dead – Black Magick Abraxas album out November 6th

King Satan, who call their music death metal disco, are speeding towards November, after the summer cover of Britney Spears’ Crazy, when the band will release their fifth studio album. The Black Magick Abraxas album, which will be released on the sixth of November, has already received a preview of the Black Magick Rock ‘N’ Roll single released with Erja Lyytinen, among others, and now with the new song Fire in the Hole they are going to a completely new level again – songwriting with the deceased! The music video for the song takes the viewer to the courtyard of the Nekala Cultural Center in Tampere, where there is at least a strange episode and party going on.

“This is the first King Satan song and video that was made together with the dead. At least that I remember? I had a dream where I was drinking with the late philosophers, the Danish Soren Kierkegaard and the Greek Diogenes, and they convinced me that I had to make a song based on their texts, since I’m such a fan of them. It was a cool dream, the characters were telepathically talking to me in some formless mumbling that I understood right away,” King Aleister Satan says and continues with amusement

“Diogenes seemed like a guy who lost a drunken bet on me when I claimed that I could jump higher than Tampere’s Näsinneula (not towers jumping). Then I thought that it was such a crazy dream again that I had to compose a crazy song for it, and I wanted to try out how a mechanical bouncing weight with a Y-shaped effect would work in this context. A bit in the spirit of our first album. And here we are.”

King Satan is heading to the gigs even before the album’s release, performing at the Lost In Music event in Tampere. The now announced autumn gigs are:

01/10/2026 – Tampere, Lost In Music Festival 2026
14/11/2026 – Turku, Fuusio (Support: Bloody Falls, Black Totem)
20-21/11/2026 – Helsinki, Hellsinki Industrial Festival 2026 (King Satan feat. Erja Lyytinen Special Show)
28/11/2026 – Kouvola, Haitaritehdas (Support: Deathropy, Kollectivist)
19/12/2026 – Mikkeli, Dinosaurock Club / Kulttuuritalo Tempo (Support: Deathropy)

The upcoming Black Magick Abraxas album includes the following songs:

1. Black Magick Rock ‘N ‘ Roll (feat. Erja Lyytinen)
2. Light of Darkness
3. Fire in the Hole
4. Hate Me Baby
5. Abraxas Rising
6. Far Beyond Good and Evil
7. The Devil Made Me Do It
8. Down by the Sins

YHWH & HESSIAN Unveil the Lyric Video for “Gravebound”

Following the release of their uncompromising split EP Rapture & Perversion, YHWH and HESSIAN have officially unveiled the lyric video for “Gravebound”.

“Gravebound” is an attack on the systems that have taught us to mistake obedience, consumption, and exploitation for freedom. In true YHWH fashion, few words hit harder than a thousand pages, with entire concepts compressed into a single term that says it all. There is no imagery and no unnecessary wordplay—just a manifesto that screams. Driven by YHWH’s unmistakable abrasive and aggressive sound, the track becomes an accusation against a society that reduces human existence to work, consumption, and profit, while selling its chains as freedomRapture and Perversion is a relentless journey through occult atmospheres, crushing riffs, and unfiltered aggression.

Hessian traces back to 2002, when Wade’s project was recorded under the name Madame Durant. It became Utuk Xul Commands Worship in 2004 and went inactive, then returned in 2014 playing hardcore street punk. By 2016, the project had shifted back into extreme metal, recording collaboratively under the Hessian name. Hessian signed to Wormholedeath and released a self-titled album in January 2025, with Brandon Floyd on vocals (now running the solo DSBM project Nyvrosk), Wade on guitar, and Noctem on drums.

Since the self-titled album, Wade has run Hessian with a rotating cast of guest musicians from release to release: Frostmorner, also signed to Wormholedeath, on the single “Goetic Altars of Obsidian”; Thoth, of Thoth Nemesis and Internment, on the EP “Sworn to the Kult”; Frostmorner, Thoth, Crotalos of Gomold, and Dromo’ together on the EP “Celebrants of the Lunar Blood”; and, on the split EP “Primitive Adorations” with Death Invoker, Wade himself on vocals alongside drummer Wrath of Nunslaughter and Beelzebub Slaughter of Murder Records on the opening track. On “Rapture and Perversion,” Wade returns to vocals and guitar, with Noctem back on drums.

YHWH is a Belgian/Thai occult black metal band formed in 2024 by brother and sister Schem HaMephorash and C. Bones, and S.M. Goatritual arrived in June 2024. S.M. Goat Ritual joined the band in June [YEAR TO CONFIRM]. YHWH released its debut EP, “Tetragrammaton,” through Wormholedeath in April 2025, followed by a second EP, “Khatha,” later that year. A third EP, “Baghavat,” is scheduled for October 30, 2026.

French Modern Progressive Metal 5-piece Dualisis release and stream debut EP ‘Us – Out now on digital tourgh all platforms

Ahead of the release of their debut EP ‘Us’ scheduled this month, French progressive metal act Dualisis brings both previously released singles back into focus “Us” and “The Deep” – revealing them not as isolated tracks, but as interconnected fragments of a larger emotional and sonic narrative.

‘Us ‘is out now. Two singles, heard separately until now — together they form something more considered: a debut record built around contrast, identity and inner conflict.

Moving between atmospheric tension, crushing rhythmic weight and introspective melodic depth, French progressive metal act Dualisis

crafts a modern progressive metal sound rooted as much in emotional resonance as in technical precision.

For fans of In This Moment, TesseracT, Katatonia, Soen and The Gathering — and anyone drawn to progressive metal that feels both cinematic and deeply human.

Based in France, Dualisis is a modern progressive metal act combining atmospheric songwriting, dynamic heaviness and cinematic textures.

Drawing influence from progressive metal, alternative metal and post-metal aesthetics, the band develops a sound built around contrast, tension and immersive composition rather than pure technical exhibition.

Following the release of its first singles, Dualisis released its debut EP ‘Us’ lin May 2025.

Label, Eternal Blasphemy Productions, New Dark Ages, and GlobMetal Promotions. Commenting on the upcoming dates, the band shares: “This run may be short, but our goal is to execute it with maximum precision, promote it properly, and above all, give people the opportunity to experience our music live. We will be performing in new costumes, featuring custom stage decorations and immersive, medieval dungeon synth intermissions. Surma, Nøkken, Onidaiko, and I cannot wait to bring the true story of the ‘Kadath’ album to life—and to share the stage with incredible local acts along the way.”
East Coast Tour Dates:
Nov. 21 – Rochester, NY @ California Brew House
Nov. 22 – New York, NY @ The Woodshop
Nov. 28 – Philadelphia, PA @ Mousetrap
Nov. 29 – Baltimore, MD @ The Depot
Formed in Rochester, NY, by Hauras (lead guitar/vocals/synths) and Surma (guitar), alongside Nøkken (bass) and drummers Onidaiko and Andrew Dewar, Antithetic is a melodic black metal project blending aggressive Finnish and Russian traditions with grandeur and sorrow. Performing with concealed faces, the band shifts focus from personality to raw ritual. Driven by a central tension of beauty and violence, frost and fire, they deliver a cinematic, multilingual descent through Lovecraftian dreamlands, cosmic horror, and a medieval sense of dread that channels the influence of Dissection and Horna.

Basque Black Metal Project Aschen Return With The Music Video For “The Forsaken Redeemer”

Wormholedeath is pleased to announce the release of the official music video for “The Forsaken Redeemer,” the latest visual offering from Basque black metal project Aschen. The track is taken from the band’s debut album, The Never Ending Search, available now via Wormholedeath.

Inspired by the Passion of Christ, the song portrays the agony of a savior rejected and ultimately executed, using his story as a metaphor for a society that has stripped all meaning from truth itself, where any narrative can be questioned, manipulated, or erased when it conflicts with selfish interests and structures of power.

Musically, the song features a slow, heavy, and repetitive riff, hypnotic guitars with subtle oriental nuances that draw the listener into a near-trance state, acoustic guitars, spoken words, and a finale that is as aggressive as it is agonizing and ecstatic—making it arguably the most ambitious and complete track on the record.

The accompanying video combines public domain footage from vintage films with newly shot material, constructing a visual narrative around the song’s themes.

Aschen’s The Never Ending Search explores dynamic contrasts, blending black metal with doom-laden passages, blast beats, crushing riffs, melodic textures, and emotional depth. Sung in both English and Basque, the album moves beyond traditional genre themes to explore inner conflict, societal decay, and humanity’s fractured relationship with the natural world.

Its artwork, created by Mikel Telletxea, reflects this concept through an endless fingerprint-shaped labyrinth—a symbol of a search with no clear exit, both inward and outward.

Founded in 2022 by Mikel Telletxea (vocals, guitar, programming), Aschen began as a solo project before evolving into a creative partnership with the addition of bassist Atauzz (Korkut, Kurkuma, 2Sonte).

The duo recorded the debut at Atala Studios in Spain, capturing the project’s raw energy with precision. The album was mastered by Toni Lindgren at Fascination Street Studios in Sweden, whose credits include Dimmu Borgir, Katatonia, and Kreator

Noumena Drags Listeners to the Edge of Existence – New Album Maanääri Out Now

Finnish melodic death metal veterans Noumena have released their seventh studio album, Maanääri on August 21st.

“The album takes the listener on a journey to the end of the earth – a place where humanity meets its smallness amid the majesty of nature. It’s a realm where the threads of life and death intertwine, creatures of the Underworld roam, and tormentors haunt,” describes guitarist and main songwriter Ville Lamminaho. “At the edge of the world, one reaches the absolute limits of mind and endurance, where hope and strength fade away. Ultimately, what remains is grace, reconciliation, and a hazy night,” he sums up.

Musically, Maanääri is a collision of beauty and death, hope and destruction. Throughout the album, sweeping melodies, crushing guitar riffs, and beautiful soundscapes alternate with poignant, delicate moments. Noumena’s signature melodic death metal draws inspiration from folk music, melancholy Finnish schlager traditions, and black metal.

The band has built the record around their greatest strengths. Antti Haapanen’s world-class growls, Suvi Uura’s incredible vocal palette, and Markus Hirvonen’s versatile vocal dynamic form the backbone of the intricate arrangements. Furthermore, the deployment of a three-guitar line-up elevates the melodies, arrangements, and overall sonic depth to a new level – both on the album and in their live performances.

While Noumena’s sound and music have subtly modernized, the result uncompromisingly honors the band’s distinct style and rich history, placing Maanääri right alongside their finest work to date.

Maanääri will be available on August 21st across all major digital streaming platforms as well as physical vinyl and CD formats. On the release date, the band will also premiere an official music video for the track Hiekkaanrakennettu (“Built on Sand”), which addresses the futility of war through the lens of a child’s game. Following the album release, Noumena will embark on a tour covering Finland and extending across Asia.
