SEVEN METAL SINS Unveils New Video “Eternal Downfall” From New Album “Legacy Of Chaos” Out June 2026

French heavy metal force Seven Metal Sins return with “Eternal Downfall”, the new single taken from the band’s forthcoming debut album “Legacy Of Chaos“, set for release in June 2026.

Following the release of “Hypocrisy” and the recent unveiling of “Wolves Of The Last Dawn”, the new track further consolidates the band’s uncompromising approach to heavy and power metal, combining razor-sharp riffing, commanding vocals, and an atmosphere fueled by tension, urgency, and raw intensity.

Formed in 2024 by former Manigance rhythm section Stéphane Lacoude and Patrick Soria, Seven Metal Sins was born from the desire to return to a more direct, personal, and aggressive vision of metal songwriting. The lineup was later completed by guitarist Antton Iriart, vocalist Claw-G. and guitarist Fred Auclerc, forging a sound rooted in classic heavy metal, power metal, and old-school speed metal traditions while embracing a sharper contemporary edge.

Lyrically, “Eternal Downfall” perfectly reflects the dystopian and socially conscious vision at the core of “Legacy Of Chaos“. Inspired by environmental collapse, authoritarianism, greed, and humanity’s destructive trajectory, the band channels its frustration and rage into a heavy metal framework enriched by dark futuristic imagery and apocalyptic undertones.

The band describes its sound as “powerful – strong – heavy – sharp – huge”, delivering “pure, hard-hitting metal in the vein of cult bands that have marked different eras”.

Produced by Seven Metal Sins, “Legacy Of Chaos” was mixed by Jérémie Garat at Reseda Prod and mastered by Simon Capony at Basalte Studio, while the album artwork and layout were created by Marco Orlando.

Seven Metal Sins Line-up:
Claw-G.: Vocals
Antton Iriart: Guitars
Frédéric Auclerc: Guitars
Stéphane Lacoude: Bass
Patrick Soria: Drums

Seven Metal Sins is a European heavy metal band formed in April 2024 by Stéphane Lacoude (bass) and Patrick Soria (drums), both former members of the French act Manigance. After years of shared experience, the two musicians reunited with a clear intention: to return to a more direct, uncompromising approach to songwriting, rooted in the essence of heavy metal while reflecting a renewed creative vision.

The project quickly gained momentum with the addition of guitarist Antton Iriart, whose compositional input became a central element in shaping the band’s sound. In December 2024, vocalist Claw-G. joined the lineup, bringing a powerful and distinctive voice that added intensity and character to the music. The formation was completed in March 2025 with guitarist Frédéric Auclerc, further expanding the band’s harmonic depth and overall dynamic range.

With this solid lineup in place, Seven Metal Sins began refining their musical identity, built on a combination of classic heavy metal foundations and the energy of power and speed metal. Their sound is defined by sharp, riff-driven structures, galloping rhythms, and a strong melodic sensibility, balanced by a modern production approach that emphasizes clarity and impact.

The band made its official debut with the single “Hypocrisy” in April 2025, marking the first step in a focused creative path that led to the completion of their first full-length album, “Legacy Of Chaos“, set for release on June 5th, 2026, via Rockshots Records.

Lyrically, Seven Metal Sins draws inspiration from the fractures of contemporary society, addressing themes such as environmental decline, social instability, and authoritarian drift. These elements are often framed through dystopian and science fiction imagery, creating a narrative that resonates with both present realities and possible futures.

With “Legacy Of Chaos“, Seven Metal Sins establishes a clear artistic identity: a band rooted in experience, driven by purpose, and committed to delivering heavy metal that is direct, intense, and relevant within today’s landscape.

Thrash Metal From Reunion Island LOMOR Announces EU Tour Dates + Hellfest; New Album “Sabouk Rouge” Out Now

Reunion Island thrash metal trio LOMOR is heading to Europe, launching a run of France and Belgium tour dates in support of their new album “Sabouk Rouge,” with the trek kicking off at Hellfest. This band will be bringing their raw, creole‑infused thrash to some of the region’s most respected stages (dates listed below).

The tour supports their latest album “Sabouk Rouge,” released this past February 2026 via Rockshots Records. Produced by the band, recorded and mixed by Sébastien Camhi at Art Music Studio in France, and mastered by Kai Stahlenberg at Kohlekeller Studio in Germany, “Sabouk Rouge” expands LOMOR’s sonic palette while staying true to their primal thrash roots. With more Creole lyrics woven in at fans’ request, the album strengthens its cultural identity as it shifts through a wide range of moods.

“The tracks are all different, each bringing its own atmosphere. It’s still trash, but with a variety of flavors,” says Eric.

That diversity fuels a record that moves from the title track’s sharp satire of Réunion’s slavery legacy to the grotesque obsession of “Meet Your Meat,” the ritualistic mysticism of “Sanctuary,” and the blistering critique of religion in “La Haine.” The tone lightens with the street‑racing humor of “La Pouss’,” then darkens again with “Panzram,” exploring the roots of a killer’s hatred. The album revisits Eric’s past with a reimagined “Kit Ta Mère” before closing on “Nevroz,” a reversed, tongue‑in‑cheek remake born from a studio joke.

LOMOR has carved its identity as one of the most distinctive metal acts emerging from the Indian Ocean. Their sound, described by guitarist/vocalist Eric Castelnau (Babouk) as “creole thrash old‑school stuff”, fuses classic 80s thrash aggression with the cultural grit and linguistic identity of Réunion Island.

LOMOR began as a deeply personal project for Eric, who formed the band in 2018 after the passing of his cousin and brother, both former bandmates in his earlier project Black Babouk. The name Lomor, meaning “The Deads” in Réunion Creole, stands as a tribute to the people and memories that shaped his musical path.

Joined by drummer Gurvan Cambrai (Typhvs) (also of grind outfit Brvtal trve d’baal) and bassist Micha (member of a local Rage Against the Machine tribute band), the trio has forged a sound rooted in old‑school thrash but sharpened by modern production and raw island energy.

Lomor Line Up:
– Eric Castelnau (aka Babouk) – Vocals & Guitars
– Gurvan Cambrai (aka Typhvs) – Drums
– Mathieu Michalina (aka Micha) – Bass Guitar

Lomor is a power trio from Reunion Island (France) delivering an explosive blend of old-school thrash, punk, and core metal. Drawing inspiration from Slayer, Testament, and Kreator, the band channels the raw spirit of 80s thrash through modern production and unrelenting stage energy.

Formed in 2018 by Eric Castelnau (vocals, guitars), joined by Gurvan Cambrai (drums) and Mathieu “Micha” Michalina (bass), Lomor quickly became one of the loudest voices in the island’s metal scene. Their first single, Kanyar L’Enfer (2021), set the tone for their uncompromising sound, followed by their debut full-length Perseverance of Sickness (2022), recorded by Sébastien Camhi (Art Music Studio, France). The album was praised by international outlets like Rock Hard France and Legacy.de for its sharp riffing and fierce authenticity.

In 2023, Lomor hit mainland France for their Kanyar Tour, performing seven shows and sharing stages with Akiavel and Mass Hysteria. They also released the live record “Live on Dock“, capturing the raw, chaotic energy that defines their performances.

Now, with their second studio album Sabouk Rouge (out February 2026 via Rockshots Records), Lomor dive deeper into the social and historical themes that shaped their identity, from the brutality of slavery on their island to the universal struggle against human madness and oppression. Recorded again with Sébastien Camhi and mastered by Kai Stahlenberg at Kohlekeller Studio (Germany), the album reaffirms Lomor’s old-school ethos while delivering a powerful, modern punch.

Fueled by adrenaline, rebellion, and Creole pride, Lomor stands as a unique voice in today’s global metal scene, pure thrash from Reunion Island.

Smoking Snakes unleash new visualizer “Don’t Touch” from upcoming album “All Lights On” out on July 10th

Swedish sleaze metallers Smoking Snakes unleashed a new single, “Don’t Touch”, along with an official visualizer, ahead of the release of their new studio album, “All Lights On”, out on July 10, 2026, via Frontiers Music Srl.

The band said: “Don’t Touch” deals with inner conflict, self-destructive patterns, and the feeling of losing control. It follows a state of isolation and emotional weight, where doubt, regret, and frustration start to take over. The title reflects the awareness of something dangerous… Something you know you shouldn’t reach for, but yet it feels impossible to resist. Once crossed, that line pulls you deeper, making it harder to step back. At the same time, there’s a sense of resistance running through the song… A refusal to fully give in, even when things feel overwhelming. It reflects that tension between falling apart and trying to hold yourself together.”

Watch the official visualizer for “Don’t Touch” HERE

Pre-Order “All Lights On” HERE

Describing the new album, Smoking Snakes stated: “NOTHING STAYS HIDDEN WHEN THE LIGHTS COME ON. The shadows run, secrets surface, and every flaw, fear, and fire inside us is exposed. This album is a raw flash of truth, like the blinding light in a horror flick when the killer is revealed, or the stage lights right before the first scream of feedback”.

“There’s no place to hide. No mask to wear. No safe darkness”, they continued. “All Lights On” is where neon nightmares meet rock ‘n’ roll redemption. Electric, intense, and unfiltered, just the way it’s meant to be”.

Hailing from Gothenburg, Smoking Snakes are steadily carving out their place in the sleaze metal scene with a sound that blends attitude, melody, and raw energy. Inspired by the great arena rock bands of the 1980s, their music has evolved beyond its roots to develop a distinct and recognizable identity of its own.

A key part of their identity lies in their strong commitment to live performances. Smoking Snakes are a highly active touring band, hitting the road, playing shows, and building a direct connection with their audience. This dedication to the live circuit has allowed them to grow organically, sharpening their performance skills and expanding their fanbase step by step.

At the same time, the band continues to invest serious effort into their artistic development, working consistently to refine their songwriting and define a clear sonic direction. Their evolution reflects both persistence and a genuine passion for their craft.

Their new album, produced by Jack Stroem, captures this moment of growth perfectly. It delivers a collection of songs that balance grit and melody, showcasing a band that is becoming more confident, focused, and mature without losing its edge.

With a strong work ethic, an increasing presence on stage, and a clear vision for the future, Smoking Snakes prove themselves to be more than just an emerging act – they are a band on a steady rise, and one that fans of sleaze metal should keep a close eye on.

“All Lights On” deliver a band in perfect shape ready to take its place in the sleaze scene.

Serpent From Eden Are Back, And This Time They Have An Atomic Disintegrator

Serpent from Eden, the the much-acclaimed California metal trio featuring guitarist John “Gumby” Goodwin (Ozzy Osbourne, Ringo Starr, George Clinton), are little more than a week away from the May 22 release of their new album.  Serpent From Eden featuring Nick Menza, as its title suggests, is the band’s tribute to the late Nick Menzes, the Megadeth drummer with whom Gumby worked since they met back when they were teenagers.
The album was conceived almost by accident, as Gumby was playing through some of his old tapes looking for material that the band could record in its own right. Suddenly, he says, he discovered he had an entire album’s worth of unreleased music, all of it featuring Nick.  A whole new project suddenly emerged.
Nick does not merely play on the album, however. His life and dreams also hang heavy over it, and nowhere so much as the band’s latest single and video, the epic “Atomic Disintegrator.”
Gumby explains, “Nick talked about a comic book character called The Atomic Disintegrator on and off for years. I have turned those descriptions into a comic book super hero character with the traits he mentioned, and traits he had himself, because of course, The Atomic Disintegrator is Nick!”
For a long time, Gumby was uncertain how to bring the Atomic Disintegrator to life.  “I’ve had this comic book format idea for years and pitched it to several people who thought I was crazy, but since I couldn’t draw the characters myself, I was stuck with a real and vivid concept, and no way to execute it!
“Now, with AI and digital video tools, I believe I have created a totally original hybrid format of video story telling, using multiple digital platforms, apps, and creative tools as well as real time video of real humans. For me, the live video, the automatic page turning and the lyrics in the talk bubbles were clearly stand out innovations that will be my trademark!
“I am calling this a Multimedia Graphic Novel! Nick Menza’s life story is simply a perfect subject to present in this style and he would totally love it,”
He continues, ”The Atomic Disintegrator video is a hard assessment of real life events dramatized for comic book effect, but a needed purge of truth that will be understood in detail by all that know the players involved and rock fans everywhere! You don’t need to know all the details of the back story to be entertained by the song and video, but the more times you watch…the more inside moments will appear to those that know Nick’s real history!”
And it’s one helluva history. Friends since childhood, Gumby and Ballard met Nick while in their teens, when their band Emeralde were soundchecking at the Santa Monica College Amphitheater at the time.
“We set up,” says Gumby, “and I blasted out a few riffs on my guitar to sound check my rig, and after I put my guitar down and started walking backstage, I heard a thunderous explosive sound and the most articulated heavy rock drumming ever from someone not named John Bonham!”
It was a student that their regular drummer had brought along – “he’s Steve’s drum roadie,” a passer-by told Gumby. “ “No he’s not,” the guitarist responded.  “He’s our new drummer!”
Over the years that followed, the trio recorded 10 albums together, beginning in 1985 when they teamed up with Randy Rhoads’s brother Kelle in the band Rhoads.  Others followed, by Emeralde, The Green, Von Skeletor, Soma and Freaktricity! Nick received his copy of their latest album, the all instrumental Freaktricity 5, just four days before his death in May 2016.
In the midst of so much activity, too, Nick leaped aboard the crazy train that is Megadeth, and what Gumby describes as “a ten year run of success seldom seen in the rock world.”
Unfortunately, he continues, “that same success lead to jealousy and unfair treatment from bandleader and strong-boss Dave Mustaine…” tensions which led not only to Nick’s “dismissal and banishment from the Megadeth universe,” but are also captured in the lyrics of the album’s opening track, “Promises, Conspiracies, and Lies.”
Elsewhere on the album, special guests Chris Poland and fellow Medadeth-er David Ellefson contribute stellar performances (including Poland’s stand-out performance on “The Atomic Disintegrator:), while producer Max Norman then distilled everything into this collection of songs.  The result is a stand out collection of powerful, dynamic, and melodic hard rock music that will be impossible to pigeon hole as one style but it is still highly cohesive as a whole, all bound together by just one intention – to honor Nick Menza in the way he would want to be honored, with an uncompromising, heavy musical statement, encompassing his wide range of musical tastes but always his ever insatiable need for musical power!
And, if you’re around, don’t miss the album’s live launch at The Boardwalk in Sacramento, also on May 22.  It’s going to be mega.

Italian Progressive Metal Visionaries GanEden Sign Deal with Epictronic

Epictronic is pleased to announce the signing of Italian progressive metal band GanEden. The label will reissue the band’s debut album, Gan Eden, marking their first release under the Epictronic imprint.

GanEden was formed in Trento in 2023. The four-piece — Davide Battisti (drums), Andrea Gottoli (guitars), Morena Dallapiccola (vocals), and Carlo Mirabassi (bass), plays progressive metal built on structural complexity and a range of genre influences, spanning aggressive riffing to atmospheric, introspective passages.

“Gan Eden” is a concept album that revisits the Book of Genesis through a speculative lens: Adam and Eve not as divine creations, but as genetic experiments conducted by a higher intelligence. Expelled from the Garden of Eden, they encounter violence, moral failure, and the weight of human imperfection. The album follows both the subjects and their creators as each side confronts what went wrong: Adam and Eve attempting to reach their makers, the creators watching their experiment unravel. The record moves between dense, heavy arrangements and quieter, more ethereal sections, using the full range of progressive metal to map the emotional arc of the story.

Finnish symphonic metal band VOV unleash high-energy single: “Longing”

Finnish symphonic metal band VOV returns with “Longing”, a fast, driving single built on groove, double-kick power and an anthemic chorus. The song keeps moving direct, physical and uplifting, while carrying a sharp emotional charge.

“Longing” captures the pull of a connection just out of reach. Desire and distance collide; hope stays alive, but it doesn’t come easy. The result is metal with momentum: melody and force pushing in the same direction.

Vocalist Karoliina McLoud delivers a focused, expressive performance that creates the core of the song. Teemu Harjunen’s guitar work drives the forward motion, Sami Halinen supports the impact with bass and keys, and Juha-Tapio Anttonen keeps the engine running with relentless, groove-first drumming.

Commenting on the release, Karoliina McLoud states:

Longing is about a connection that feels destined yet painfully out of reach. The kind that consumes you and makes you question what’s real and what’s imagined.”

King Satan’s Black Magick Abraxas album out November 6th – Light of Darkness is industrial metal for those who don’t like industrial metal

King Satan, who provided a real surprise in March with the release of the single Black Magick Rock ‘N’ Roll in collaboration with the blues guitarist Erja Lyytinen, has announced the release date of his upcoming album. The Black Magick Abraxas album, via Nuclear Blast’s Blood Blast Distribution, will be released on November 6th, and now it has a song that may affect metal listeners in a surprising way, like a tunnel to a new world:

“Light of Darkness is industrial metal for people who don’t like industrial metal. And this song probably isn’t even industrial metal. Like probably half of our songs aren’t either. But that’s not important. What is important, of course, is that this song has blast beats and disco beats mixed together. We’re a pretty hard band to categorize, but unfortunately we make music to listen to and not to categorize. In this song too, you can hear influences from symphonic metal, classical music and religious hymns, combined with our rocking industrial metal (which isn’t even industrial metal) and to which you can dance and/or mosh,” King Aleister Satan comments.

King Satan’s “death metal disco” style has freed the band to a very diverse expression, which is also visible in the cover art for the upcoming album designed by M. T. Salminen. The path paved with black humor and the band’s internal “beauty and the beast” theme is a path to develop all kinds of joy. The new joyful single released now reflects King Satan’s common thread, where the sensible thing is that things don’t necessarily make sense.

“Like neither in this music video for this song that I directed, nor in the fact that Donald Duck wears a swimsuit. But we are still able to understand both on some deeper atavistic level of consciousness that modern society has completely forgotten. If only we give ourselves permission. Long live Lucifer!”, King Aleister Satan adds

The upcoming Black Magick Abraxas album includes the following songs:
1. Black Magick Rock ‘N ‘ Roll (feat. Erja Lyytinen)
2. Light of Darkness
3. Fire in the Hole
4. Hate Me Baby
5. Abraxas Rising
6. Far Beyond Good and Evil
7. The Devil Made Me Do It
8. Down by the Sins
9. Ride the Lion (CD/LP Bonus)
The band will be seen at selected gigs during the summer:

13/06 – Helsinki (See You In Hell Club, Bar Loose) /w Old Moon (USA), Themata
17/07 – Vizovice, Czechia (Masters Of Rock Festival)
20-21/11 – Helsinki (Hellsinki Industrial Festival: King Satan feat. Erja Lyytinen special show!)

Everything from viking metal to swinging guitar chugs – Folkrim releases a new EP and music video

Following in the wake of their previous full-length album, Embers [2024], Folkrim are once again bringing new chaotic folk metal to the table for all metalheads to enjoy. Their new, almost accidentally created EP, bears the name of a mythical Finnish creature ‘Näkki’.

‘’The first song ‘Jack In A Box’ was originally supposed to be a one-off release, but as the launch day grew closer we realized that there’s no point in squeezing out just a nugget if we got more to push!’’, the band tells jokingly

‘’The songs have a lot of variety, but ultimately you can see Folkrim’s fingerprints all over them. We didn’t set out to reinvent the wheel, but tried to step outside the box somewhat’’

Finnish Heavy Metal Unit Crimson Day Ignites the Horizon with New Lyric Video “Song of Fire”

Finnish metal outfit Crimson Day have released the lyric video for their new single “Song of Fire,” the latest track to be unveiled from their highly anticipated fourth album Dark Dimension, due out on May 22nd, 2026, through Wormholedeath.

With “Song of Fire,” Crimson Day channels biblical apocalypse and existential dread, telling the story of a final day where promised salvation never arrives and the world is left to burn. The track is driven by their trademark fast-paced metal, blasting heavy riffs, memorable choruses, the inimitable and powerful voice of Milka Uusitalo, and the kind of relentless energy that has always set the band apart, delivering soaring melodic hooks and a darkly cinematic vision that is entirely their own.

The single joins “False Prophet” and “Hexed” as previews from Dark Dimension, painting a picture of an album that is ambitious, cohesive, and unafraid to push into darker thematic territory. Together, the three singles establish Dark Dimension as a fully realised statement from a band that has been quietly and steadily building toward this moment.

Watch ‘False Prophet’: https://youtu.be/yo11yiHjMgg

Watch ‘Hexed’: https://youtu.be/bDP7_bKFPDQ

Founded in 2013 in Tampere, Crimson Day has spent over a decade forging their own lane within the heavy metal landscape, blending the timeless power of classic heavy metal with a broad sweep of genre influences, wrapped in dark intensity, high-octane energy, and sharp, soaring melody.

The band’s story began with a self-titled EP in 2013, followed by their debut full-length Order of the Shadows (2015). They expanded their sonic vision on At the Mountains of Madness (2018) before returning with the bold, self-titled Crimson Day in 2023. A pivotal lineup shift in 2020 introduced new frontwoman Milka Uusitalo, ushering in a reinvigorated era marked by standout singles including “Raising the Fury” and “Black as the Heavens Above,” and bold, genre-defying covers of “Immigrant Song,” “Holding Out for a Hero,” and “Objection (Tango)” that further demonstrated the band’s dynamic range.

Now, with Dark Dimension on the horizon, Crimson Day is stepping into their most ambitious chapter yet.

With over 100 live shows across Finland and Europe, sharing stages with Sonata Arctica, Turmion Kätilöt, Turisas, Reckless Love, and Korpiklaani, and international performances spanning the Baltics, Germany, and Sweden, the band has built a reputation as a formidable live force. Their music has earned global radio airplay, and their YouTube catalog has surpassed 100,000 views.

Crimson Day is:

Milka Uusitalo – vocals
Ari Balzar – lead guitar
Janne Rantanen – guitar/screams
Jesse ”Kämy” Kämäräinen – bass

Beyond Awareness’ debut album “Reflections” is out now – featuring Dead by April’s Pontus Hjelm on the opening track

Tampere-based new wave metalcore band Beyond Awareness have released their highly anticipated debut albumReflections last Friday. The record began taking shape with the band’s breakout debut singleCrime”, which has already amassed over four million streams, and now comes together as a cohesive ten-track album.

“This album has been in the making for several years, so we’re incredibly excited to finally share this emotional release. Reflections is an honest and, true to its name, deeply self-reflective body of work. It explores inner conflicts and heavy emotional states, while maintaining a constant drive to confront oneself and understand the thoughts that lead to despair and pain. Musically, the album blends modern metalcore with elements of experimental electronic production and raw metal, forming a tight and dynamic whole,” the band explains.

During the final stages of production, the band’s producer James Carey suggested collaborating with Pontus Hjelm of Swedish metal band Dead by April. Hjelm immediately came on board after hearing the demo of the album’s opening track, “Rerun“.

”When I was approached by Beyond Awareness to sing on their track ‘Rerun’ I was very grateful and excited. Because, when I had listened to it the first time, I instantly knew I wanted to contribute to it. What an amazing song!! Huge chorus, heavy riffing, and world class production. I feel proud to be a part of it. Also, working with these guys has been super smooth. They are very humble, professional and focused on the vision of their art.”

“Rerun” leans toward a more melodic take on metalcore while still delivering enough weight to resonate with fans of the genre’s heavier side.

“’Rerun’ deals with a mentally exhausting state where past mistakes and traumatic experiences keep replaying in your mind on a loop—as if you’re forced to relive the same distressing moments over and over again. There isn’t much hope offered in the song, but perhaps the key lies in accepting the ghosts of the past and moving forward. Pontus joined the track at the suggestion of our producer James Carey, and his vision proved absolutely right—Pontus brought exactly the extra dimension the song needed,” the band adds.

To celebrate the release, Beyond Awareness are touring across Finland. The run kicked off yesterday at Tavastia Club in Helsinki, where the band opened for Hokka, and continues this weekend through Finland.
