Reversed Chakra Releases New EP Rarefied via Dungeon Media

Reversed Chakra, the rising indie rock / dark wave outfit, proudly releases their highly anticipated new EP Rarefied through Dungeon Media, available worldwide on all streaming platforms.

A centerpiece of the EP is the band’s reimagining of Duran Duran’s 1984 classic “The Wild Boys”, transformed into a brooding, atmospheric indie rock anthem. The track was produced and mixed by John Fryer, legendary for his work with Depeche Mode, Nine Inch Nails, and HIM, and mastered by Alan Douches, whose credits span from Converge and Chelsea Wolfe to Fatboy Slim and The Chemical Brothers.

“Rarefied is a statement about contrasts: beauty and decay, danger and desire,” says Reversed Chakra. “Covering ‘The Wild Boys’ allowed us to pay homage to the spirit of the 80s while pushing it through our darker lens.”

With their previous singles — including “Game of Chess” (2.2 million views and extensive international radio play), “All The Way Down”, and “Dust” — Reversed Chakra have already made their mark as one of the most compelling new voices in alternative music. Rarefied sees the band expand their sonic palette even further, blending post-rock atmospheres with the urgency of modern indie rock.

Industrial Punk Metal Heroes There Is No Us Are Trick Or Treating With Fragments

Breaking the year long silence since their acclaimed self-titled debut album, up and coming Phoenix AZ based industrial punkers There Is No Us release their first – and only – new music of 2025 on Halloween day.
Fronted by vocalist Jim Louvau (already renowned as an award-winning rock photographer) and multi-instrumentalist Andy Gerold (Marilyn Manson), There Is No Us launched back in 2015 with the There Is No Humanity EP, since when a steady stream of fresh releases, and sharp political commentary has seen the band stockpiling critical acclaim.
“[A] fiery industrial-metal band” – Revolver
“Jim Louvau really doesn’t give us any time to breathe, with non-stop screams, sounding metalcore at times… all tracks have their strong points with the endless guitar solos and riffs” – Heavymag.au
“Their live show truly is essential. Some bands don’t require any spectacle, and There Is No Us is clearly not one of those outfits.” – Phoenix New Times
Now comes “Fragments,” a thunderous collaboration with 8mm, the dynamite duo of Juliette Beaven and legendary producer Sean Beaven (Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson, A Perfect Circle), and perhaps There Is No Us’s most attack-minded, assaultive release yet.
“We’ve been working with Sean for many years now,” says Jim, “and typically any new music we release goes through him to get his feedback, whether it’s in its infant stages or when we think something is done.  So working with him and Juliette on a track seemed like a natural fit.”
He continues, however, “This song also has some elements that are a little bit out of our typical wheelhouse, by touching on a bit of a trip hop vibe that is seductive and almost inviting thanks to Juliette’s voice, before we bring our signature brand of aggression.”
It’s certainly going to turn up the volume on your Halloween plans… and if you want more (and you will), There Is No Us are headlining Hollywood’s Bar Sinister tomorrow, November 1.
As Jim says, “Some of our favorite shows we’ve ever played have taken place there and if you’ve seen us play there you know why. So don’t take off your Halloween makeup from the night before and come GET FK’D.”

Finnish industrial metal pioneers RUOSKA releases new album in February – New single Ihtiriekko is a timeless story of real-life tragedy

2002 formed Finnish industrial metal band Ruoska, will release their sixth studio album next February. Now they have released a new single Ihtiriekko from the upcoming album Kade. Both the single and the album are released worldwide through Inverse Records. The band’s more than three-year hiatus ends with a bang!

Ihtiriekko is perfectly in line with the band’s intense output, and the song’s story is not exactly cheerful either.

“Taken from Finnish folk tales, Ihtiriekko is a powerful and sad story about real-life tragedies that took place in the past, but which today’s listeners can also relate to. In times past, people have sought to explain difficult things through mythology and fantasy in order to find comfort in the midst of often miserable everyday life,” the band explains.

Listen to the single on music services (Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, Tidal etc.): https://push.fm/fl/ruoska-ihtiriekko

All the way from the demo stage of this powerful song, it was clear that it had to be finished.

“The final version came together quite painlessly. Ihtiriekko combines heavy sounds, electronic music, and classical elements. This is one of the latest and most significant songs that was worked on for the upcoming album.”

The band, which hails from Juva, Eastern Finland, and has already racked up nearly 25 million plays on Spotify alone, will also be heading out on an album release tour, which will be announced later.

Ruoska is:
Patrik Mennander (Vocals)
Samuli Rimmi (Guitar, Backing vocals)
Miika Kokkola (Bass, Backing vocals)
Teemu Karppinen (Drums)

Alternative Rock Discovery epoimóriròmiope Drops Lyric Video For “cenere”

Italian alternative rock trio epoimóriròmiope have unveiled the lyric video for their darkly poetic single “cenere”, taken from the album ricordi di un tempo mai esistito, out now via Epictronic Worldwide.

There’s no saving what was never meant to last. In “cenere”, epoimoriromiope conjure a world where love suffocates, bleeds, and devours itself—again and again.

A whispered plea. A gasp for air inside a spiraling connection, where the boundary between ecstasy and damage blurs.

This is the sound of two souls colliding, fracturing—laughing while they break.
Of blood as oxygen. Of eyes like venom. Of everything turning to ash.

With ricordi di un tempo mai esistito, epoimóriròmiope invite listeners into their world of raw emotion, fragile beauty, and haunting intensity.

For My Pain’s new single “Windows Are Weeping” features Nightwish’s Troy Donockley as a guest

Gothic metal supergroup For My Pain is getting closer to the release of their long-awaited album Buried Blue, which is due out on January 9th. Now, the band’s second full-length album received its final single release in the form of Windows Are Weeping, which was released with a lyric video.

The Windows Are Weeping single features a very special guest. English multi-instrumentalist Troy Donockley, known from Nightwish, plays all the wind instruments on the song. It features flutes and the Irish bagpipes “uileann pipes”.

“When I’m asked to guest on projects outside of my own, I want to hear authenticity. Honest music without commercial desperation attracts me. For My Pain… has exactly the kind of uncompromisingness that made the decision to collaborate easy. This song met all my criteria, and the end result is amazing. It has just the kind of massive atmosphere and classic rock power that hits you right away,” Donockley enthuses.

The singles Recoil Into Darkness, WitchBitch Elite and Time Will Heal Our Wounds have been released in advance from the Buried Blue album. In between, there was also a special interlude single – the band’s version of Tehosekoittim’s legendary hit Hetken Tie On Kevyt.

With the release of the album, For My Pain is embarking on a tour across Finland. You can see the Buried Blue tour dates below:

Wed 14.1. Tavastia, Helsinki

The album quickly became a classic of its genre, with the most famous songs being Autumn Harmony, Dancer in the Dark and Rapture of Lust. A year later, a 3-song EP Killing Romance was released, which was the last release of the then line-up before the project fell into the shadows of the past in 2005. The band members were previously known from groups such as Eternal Tears of Sorrow, Nightwish, Embraze, Kalmah, Charon and Reflexion.

Finnish power metal Gladenfold to release 4th studio album “Soulbound” on February 27th

Finnish power metal squad Gladenfold announce their 4th studio album “Soulbound” out February 27th, 2026, via Reaper Entertainment.

With “Soulbound”, Gladenfold continues to evolve their self-forged style, blending power metal and melodic death metal into their own craft. Once again the band has recorded an album sweeping across a wide musical horizon, songs full of twists and turns.

While working on new material, the band realized that a couple of the new songs shared a common thread:

Guitarist Matias Knuuttila comments:
“One thought led to another, and eventually we found ourselves fleshing out those initial ideas into a full concept album. In short, the story follows two characters whose lives entwine and clash, endlessly caught in cycles of rebirth.”

To bring the theme visually alive, the band joined forces with Tuomas Valtanen, who drew and created the vivid cover art to showcase the concept of the album.

Gladenfold creates an inherently Nordic-sounding blend of metal music, rooted in melodic death metal aggression and energy while borrowing the grandeur of power metal and symphonic metal. Influenced by bands such as Children of Bodom, Nightwish, Wintersun, Kamelot, Blind Guardian, Gamma Ray, and Freedom Call, Gladenfold has managed to refine its own unique yet constantly evolving sound.

After several demo recordings, Gladenfold released the well-received debut album, “From Dusk To Eternity” (2014), which cemented the core of the band’s sound. The debut album was followed by the sophomore album, “When Gods Descend” (2019), expanding the boundaries and refining what had been achieved on “From Dusk To Eternity”. On “Nemesis” (2022), Gladenfold’s music took directions to more sombre and atmospheric landscapes, with a sinister undertow increasingly present in the songs.

On their upcoming fourth album “Soulbound” (2026), Gladenfold continues to evolve their self-forged style, blending power metal and melodic death metal into their own craft. Once again the band has recorded an album sweeping across a wide musical horizon, songs full of twists and turns. While working on new material, the band realized that a few songs shared a common thread. Eventually the band found themselves fleshing out those initial ideas into a full concept album. In short, the story of “Soulbound” follows two characters whose lives entwine and clash, endlessly caught in cycles of rebirth.

1. Fire Wind
2. Wardens Of Time
3. For My Queen
4. Helix Of Hate

Lily Löwe Unleashes “Haunted House” A Dark Rock Anthem; New Album “Beautiful Disaster” Coming February 2026

Norwegian melodic hard rock band Lily Löwe has dropped their latest single, “Haunted House,” a chilling and cathartic track that arrives just in time to soundtrack your Halloween. The single is the sixth release from their upcoming sophomore album, “Beautiful Disaster, set to arrive February 6, 2026.

“Haunted House” dives deep into the shadows of the mind, using the metaphor of a haunted home to explore themes of anxiety, inner demons, and emotional chaos. With heavy basslines, modern production, and frontwoman Lily’s commanding vocals, the track delivers a visceral listening experience, dark, raw, and emotionally charged.

“It’s about being trapped inside your own head. We wanted the music to reflect that, heavy, haunting, but also cathartic,” says Lily.

The single follows a string of high-voltage releases in 2025, including “Wild,” “Demons,” “Puppet Master,” “Glitter & Gore,” and the title track “Beautiful Disaster.” Each song reveals a different facet of the band’s evolving sound, melodic, punchy, and unapologetically heavy.

Formed after Lily’s solo debut at Melodi Grand Prix 2022, Lily Löwe quickly grew into a full band featuring some of Norway’s top heavy rock talent: Adrian Sunde Bjerketvedt (Jorn), Patrik Svendsen (Tonic Breed), Stian Hansen (Suicide Bombers), and Eiliv Sagrusten (Invasion). Their debut album LÖWE earned critical acclaim, and their upcoming release promises to push boundaries even further.

“Beautiful Disaster” is a sonic journey through power, vulnerability, and transformation, blending classic hard rock roots with modern edge. From the glam-punk riot of “Glitter & Gore” to the emotional wreckage of the title track, the album is “all killer, no filler,” according to the band.

Fans can expect more singles leading up to the album’s release, and a live show that’s as intense as the music itself, with raw emotion, heavy riffs, and hooks that stick.

“Haunted House” is available now on all major streaming platforms. “Beautiful Disaster” arrives February 6, 2026.

Femme Fatale & Bumblefoot Have Some Bad Love For Ya

Considering they made just one album in their lifetime, Femme Fatale left one helluva mark behind them, not only on their native 80s Sunset Strip scene, but on the glam metal scene the world over.
Still fronted by the effervescent Lorraine Lewis, Femme Fatale’s first single after years out of the spotlight, “Living Like There’s No Tomorrow,” made a monster splash earlier this year; and now they’re back with “Bad Love,” a dynamite stomper that’s accompanied by one of the most incendiary videos of the year.  Directed by Vicente Cordero and shot by David Hernandez, it’s a visual extravaganza that hits as hard as the song itself.
“And yes,” Lorraine confirms. “That’s real fire.  We also brought in some incredible fire performers and even a real firefighter from the adult industry named Eva Angelina. Without giving too much away, let’s just say the video is HOTTT!”
Written by Lorraine, guitarist/producer Steve Brown and guitarist David Julian, “Bad Love,” she says, “is about that magnetic kind of connection you know isn’t good for you, but you keep going back anyway.
“It’s messy, it’s addictive, and it’s real. I wanted to capture that push-and-pull between desire and self-preservation. We’ve all been there. We see the red flag and still jump in headfirst… but if that red flag’s on fire? Baby, that’s your cue to run.
“I’m lucky to work with Steve,” she continues.“He is always magic. Steve and David really helped bring ‘Bad Love’ to life sonically.”
But Steve also brought in some heavy hitters for the track – the killer rhythm section of Joey Cassata on drums, and Sean McNabb on bass. Plus, what Lorraine so accurately describes as “a slaying guitar solo” from Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal.
The result is a truly pyro-powered feast for all the senses, with Lorraine looking and sounding as mesmeric as ever, and the band (with drummer Nick Mason dipping for Cassata) as electrifyingly assaultive as the song demands.
But how could they be anything else? As Lorraine say, “There’s no faking that heat”

Australia’s IMPERATORE Unveils First Single “Be A Man” From New Album “The Lionspirit” Out On December

Australian rock visionaries IMPERATORE return with the first single “Be A Man”, taken from their upcoming album “The Lionspirit“, due out on December 19th, 2025, via Rockshots Records. The song is released together with its official music video, introducing the core concept behind the album – a call to courage, resiliency, and self-mastery.

Blending heavy rock, progressive metal, and operatic grandeur, “Be A Man” stands as a powerful anthem of inner rebirth. Driven by amazing vocals, cinematic orchestrations, and uplifting melodies, the track embodies Imperatore’s distinctive sound – emotional, epic, and deeply reflective. Its lyrics invite listeners to confront fear, embrace authenticity, and rediscover the strength within, echoing the Stoic philosophy that inspired the entire record.

Founder Zoran Cunjack explains:

“Be A Man is about facing your inner fears and reclaiming your strength. True courage isn’t found in the world outside but in mastering your own mind and spirit. It’s a song about standing tall – not just as a man but as a human being who refuses to give up.”

Be A Man” marks the beginning of Imperatore’s next chapter – a blend of cinematic power and operatic emotion that defines the band’s evolving sound. Produced by Zoran Cunjack, recorded and mixed by Rodion Farafontov, and mastered by Simon Jovanovic, the track sets the tone for what promises to be Imperatore’s most ambitious work to date.

BIOGRAPHY:

IMPERATORE is a rock and metal band from Perth, Australia, blending the power of heavy riffs, progressive structures, and operatic emotion into a cinematic sound that’s both modern and timeless. Founded in 2022 by Zoran Cunjack, Imperatore was born from a vision to unite the strength of metal with the grandeur of classical and symphonic music, creating an experience that transcends genre boundaries.

The project began as a creative outlet for Zoran’s compositions and quickly evolved into a full-fledged band featuring Daniel Marijanovic on bass and Sean Allsopp on drums, with occasional guest contributions such as Leon Todd on lead guitar. The sound is epic, dramatic, and profoundly emotional – one that evokes the storytelling power of opera while retaining the intensity of modern metal.

In 2023, Imperatore released their self-titled debut album “Imperatore“, which received critical acclaim and a nomination for Song of the Year by West Australian Music (WAM). The album established their trademark blend of symphonic rock and theatrical metal, earning praise for its originality and depth.

A year later, the band followed with “Nations, Rise!” (2024), a record that expanded their symphonic and conceptual direction while reinforcing the philosophical dimension of their music. With their third release, “The Lionspirit” (2025), Imperatore takes a bold creative step forward – combining metal energy, orchestral power, and Stoic-inspired themes into an emotionally charged journey through courage, endurance, and self-mastery.

The band’s live performances amplify this vision through immersive visuals and cinematic projections that transform each show into a full sensory experience. With its unique fusion of rock, opera, and philosophy, Imperatore stands as one of the most distinctive voices in today’s metal scene, appealing to fans of Nightwish, Kamelot, Symphony X, Powerwolf, and Queen.
