“Back Again” tells the story of someone who steps away from the world, from societal norms and conventional logic, only to return with disillusionment and awareness. The protagonist is a “returner”, an outsider whose gaze now pierces through the illusion. There is no triumph in his return — only the burning clarity of truth. HELLFOX Unveils Seconds Single/ Video “Atlas” Off New Album “The Spectrum of Human Gravity” Out June 2025

Following the haunting release of “Seaweed Braids”, Italian all-female melodic death metal band Hellfox returns with a powerful new chapter: “Atlas,” the second single from their upcoming album “The Spectrum Of Human Gravity”, due out via Rockshots Records.

Combining heavy melodic death metal foundations with modern textures and acidic synths, “Atlas“ is a crushing and introspective anthem. Lyrically, the song draws on the myth of the Titan condemned to bear the weight of the sky — a metaphor for the emotional burdens we carry and the silent expectations imposed by society. “We have no control over what happens around us,” the band explains, “but letting go of that weight may be the most liberating act of all.”

Hellfox’s music thrives on contrast: dual female vocals (melodic and growled), distorted layers, and atmospheric electronics merge into an emotional and immersive sound. HELLFOX is an ALL FEMALE alternative metal (alt-metal) band with melodic death tendencies. Despite the four completely different musical backgrounds, we share a common inspiration to Amorphis, In Flames, Dark Tranquillity as far as composition is concerned, while for the choice of sounds we intended to move away from the Symphonic, recognizably feminine scenario to include acid and distorted synths so that we could create modern atmospheres that more closely met our tastes and better married the pop timbre of the melodic vocals. The dualism of HELLFOX is not meant to be understood on a conflicting level, it is instead the result of different voices within the human soul, different faces if you will, that mingle and generate the person itself, in its entirety, that although they seem to struggle, they coexist and create harmony and balance. We don’t use masks to conform to a mass, nor do we want to stand out at all costs, we just want to be ourselves in a society where normality is only a surface, the abyss instead is made up of so many facets of personality, both for the group and especially for the individual human being. About Degenerate:
DEGENERATE is a powerhouse collaboration between Dutch musicians Rens Hilgers, Daniel Ruiz, Bas Bloos and Yannick De Wit each with deep roots in the Netherlands’ thriving metal scene. Founded in early 2016 by frontman Rens Hilgers, DEGENERATE was born from a vision to create a modern hybrid of thrash and melodic death metal – raw, intense, and uncompromising.

Belgian modern metal powerhouse Aeveris is back with new single “Gravity”

From the first seconds, the explosive energy is felt. The aggressive, huge, and extreme vocals match with the rich and exciting music lines. The heavy and catchy guitar riffs and the crushing drums create a powerful music flow creating a strong and emotional track.

”Gravity” is about working hard towards dreams, ambition and success in life. Yet at every step being halted by the weight of the world, self-doubt and others. A problem that everyone, at some point, has to face in life in some shape or form and thus strongly relatable.

”Gravity” is the second single of the new full album, recorded and mixed by Pieter Nyckees at Shellshock Studio, mastered by Franky DSVD (Channel Zero).

With this new release the band is highlighting their new line-up. They welcome Wouter Van Kerschaver, known for his participation in The Voice Van Vlaanderen 2024. Wouter brings a powerful voice and an electrifying stage presence. Helsinki garage rockers The Halophones release a new single

The Finnish rock’n’roll quartet’s “Less Ain’t More” is the 4th single from their upcoming debut album “Noises! Noises! Noises!”.

Being the signature closing song on virtually every gig the band has played for the past 2 years, Less Ain’t More’s raw power and manic garage rock drive has made it one of their most infamous live tunes.

“The song was improvised in a jam, and the lyrics swerve ’round and ’round between passion, greed and madness. If The Cramps, The Stooges and early Arctic Monkeys had a baby, this song would be it”, the vocalist Atte Nordberg states.

Frostbite Terror serves up some energetic melodeath – Their newest single “Gehenna” calls up the devils

Finnish Turku-based melodic death metal band Frostbite Terror is set to release new EP later in 2025. The second single ‘Gehenna’ is out now.

“Massive sounds support furious blasting that won’t leave you cold. The greatest things in Finland, metal and sauna, are combined like never seen before. Listen to this tale of a sauna stove opening up a portal to hell and a face-off with the devil himself!

Gehenna is a kind of survival story from an afterparty where all food and drink is gone. This melodic piece with wall-of-sound guitars is then a good tune to warm up the sauna and enjoy the rest of the night, maybe even mosh listening to the riffs. While dreaming of a delivery of drinks the stove heats up to glowing hot and temperature rises above comfortable, representing hellfire. At that point what else can you do than take a thorough steam bath and relax.”

Frostbite Terror is a melodic death metal newcomer from Turku, Finland. Since 2022 Frostbite Terror has combined melodeath, thrashy riffing and symphonic arrangements.
