AvAcia is a band from Turku that plays metal in Finnish.
The trio performed at Ruisrock and the Saaristo Open, among others, and went on their first Eastern European tour in 2018. That same year, they also played the Scarlet Sails festival in front of 55,000 people. The band also achieved competition success after winning the Finnish and Nordic Band Emergenza competition in 2019. The band is well known for their energetic shows. Next May the band will release their second album which promises to be a turning point for the band thanks to more mature sounds and production by the legendary Janne Joutsnniemi (Ensiferum, Stam1na, kiuas). We got to have a chat with the band before their gig in Pori and talk about their upcoming album, music, concerts, and much more.

Second appointment of the month with Meara Klubi, this time on the stage we saw After Avalon alternative metal from Pori, AvAciA a trio from Turku that plays Finnish-language metal rock with an unfailing and strong attitude, and Palehørse a cobination of progressive metal, desert rock, inventive hooks and harmonious melodies.
