Ignescent unveil new video “Light Up The Night” from upcoming album “Eternal” out March 20th

Female fronted Chicago rockers, Ignescent, are pleased to unveil the new single, “Light Up The Night”, along with a visualizer video, taken from their upcoming new studio album, “Eternal”, out on March 20, 2026, via Frontiers Music Srl.

Jennifer Benson described the new single: “Light Up The Night” is a worship song about the light Jesus brings at Christmas. Co-writing it alongside Christopher Marvin of The Spark – whose recent release features Ledger of Skillet – brought a fresh spark of passion and purpose to the song”.

Ignescent, a powerful and dynamic modern metal band from Chicago, fronted by the multi-talented vocalist Jennifer Benson, returns with their brand-new album, “Eternal”.

The band expressed their enthusiasm for the new record, by saying: “We’re beyond excited to announce our brand-new album “Eternal”, dropping March 2026! This one’s a battle cry – for faith, for hope, for forever. What’s eternal cannot be shaken”.

Their latest release showcases a fierce contemporary metal sound reminiscent of Flyleaf, Evanescence, Jinjer, and Skillet – blending raw emotion with driving riffs and soaring melodies.

Over the course of their career, Ignescent has made a notable impact on the rock scene. Their single “Remnant” climbed to #46 on the Billboard Rock Charts, while their debut EP “Electrified” was produced by four-time Dove Award-winning and Grammy-nominated producer Travis Wyrick (10 Years, P.O.D.). The opening track, “Calling Out To You”, co-written with former Skillet guitarist Ben Kasica, also made its way into the Billboard Rock Top 30.

Since 2018, the band has been actively touring across the Midwest, Nashville, and later Europe, following the release of their album “Fight In Me” through Frontiers Records Srl.

But Ignescent is more than just a rock band – they are storytellers with authenticity at their core. Drawing from real-life struggles with anxiety and depression, their lyrics offer a message of hope, resilience, and connection. Their music is grounded in emotion, featuring compelling guitar work, powerful rhythms, and deeply relatable themes.

“Eternal” is produced by Jeremy Valentine (New Years Day) and Brandon Wolfe, and features a collection of modern metal anthems, including “Joker”, “Fearless” – co-written with Sameer Bhattacharya of Flyleaf, and “Chariot Of Fire”, featuring Clint Lowery of Sevendust.

Ignescent return with new video “He Came, He Saw, He Conquered” out now

Female fronted Chicago rockers, Ignescent, are pleased to share their new single and official visualizer, “He Came, He Saw, He Conquered”, out now via Frontiers Music Srl.

Lead singer Jennifer Benson commented on the track: “It was an honor to remake this song by such a legendary Christian Rock band, Petra.  When I was a teenager, I decided to follow Jesus and since then it has been a calling on my life to share His love through music. I am very thankful to be able to do that and to be a part of this band”.

“We’ve been inspired by bands like Skillet, Flyleaf, and Stryper. God has done so much for us and continues to make a way when there seems to be no way”, she added.

Ignescent, fronted by the multi-talented singer Jennifer Benson in 2018, have been primarily touring throughout the United States, Europe, and Mexico. “Not Today” hit #1 on CMW Rock Billboard Charts and “Remnant”, hit #46 on Billboard Rock Charts.

The band’s first album, “Fight In Me”, released in November 2023 via Frontiers Music Srl, was produced by Jeremy Valentyne and Brandon Wolfe of the band New Years Day.

Ignescent had the honor of opening for Skillet, Hinder, Stryper, Flyleaf, Eve 6, Megadeth, Saliva, Lacey Sturm, Otep, Fight The Fury – featuring John Cooper of Skillet, Buckcherry, Dan Sperry of America’s Got Talent, Meytal Cohen, Another Lost Year, Art of Dying, Letters From The Fire, Like a Storm and have played at festivals with Switchfoot, Colton Dixon, Memphis May Fire, The Devil Wears Prada, Veridia, Building 429, Chris Tomlin, and TobyMac.

Ignescent have also played on Vans Warped Tour, at world famous – Rock Fest – in Cadott, Wisconsin with Korn, Avenged Sevenfold, Stone Sour, Rob Zombie, Shinedown, Anthrax, Lita Ford, Slayer, and Sevendust, at Summerfest, and co-wrote songs with Sameer Bhattacharya of Flyleaf and Clint Lowery of Sevendust. Sameer played with Ignescent at their CD Release show in March 2022.

Ignescent’s song “Into The Night” was produced by Cameron Mizell (Memphis May Fire, Sleeping With Sirens) and has been played on many radio stations all over the world.

Ignescent is more than just a rock band, they are real people with real stories.  These relatable stories are the inspiration and backbone of the songs with moving guitar riffs and a driving beat.
