Swedish melodic death metal veterans Imperial Domain are back with their brand-new single “Retribution”, taken from their upcoming album Portentum, due for release on November 14, 2025, through Wormholedeath.

“Retribution” is Imperial Domain’s furious statement of long-delayed justice. Fueled by sharp riffs and a venomous chorus, the track channels humiliation and betrayal into pure melodic death metal vengeance. Founded in the mid-90s, Imperial Domain quickly made waves in the Swedish death metal underground with their debut demo The Final Chapter (1995), followed by In the Ashes of the Fallen (1996)—a release that earned them national acclaim.
