Melbourne’s premier purveyors of crust-infused death metal, Küntsquäd, are back with the release of their shocking new music video, “Piss and Purge.” The track is taken from their critically acclaimed album Satan’s Cock, out now via Wormholedeath.

Piss and Purge is a song … challenging the ideology around the normalisation of humanity’s excesses and its obsessions with disposable consumerism, which manifests both on a personal and broader level. The visuals particularly highlight the humour around the end results of rockstar like consumption of drugs of choice or other ‘fast’ consumables. The visuals also highlight how this greed manifests more broadly, asking the questions around the disposability of human life through classist warfare, and how the acquisition (consumption) of goods or territory is steadfastly sold as a necessary evil, always resulting in the death or genocide (purging) of human life. In short, it’s a satirical foray into the monstrous absurdity of what this may actually look like through the eyes of a passive observer.

Following their 2022 self-titled debut, which sold out multiple pressings and carved a cult following across the underground, KÜNTSQUÄD (pronounced Kountskard) double down on everything grotesque, unholy, and deliberately absurd. There are no genre walls here—only a relentless descent into sonic madness.

Melbourne’s crusty death metal iconoclast KÜNTSQUÄD returns with their most ferocious statement yet: the unapologetically titled Satans Cock, set for worldwide release via Wormholedeath Records.

Once again recorded at Goatsound Studios with Jason Fuller and Jamie Colic, the album is provocatively titled Satan’s Cock and features satanic artwork by Rok.

Building on their debut, the new record pushes the boundaries of heaviness and songwriting, with deeper down-tuned tones and complex rhythmic interplay. True to their ethos of constant evolution, the band continues to explore new extremes with each release.

To mark the announcement, KÜNTSQUÄD drop the first single, the grotesquely addictive “Psychotropic Lyfe”—a furious introduction to the new record’s relentless pace and satirical bite.

Crust death metal band Küntsquäd has unleashed a lyric video for their single, Eat Your Entrails. This single was recorded in 2024-25 exclusively for the Imperative Music Compilation #18, which has limited worldwide distribution. Other bands featured on this compilation include God Dethroned and Deicide.

Eat Your Entrails is released as a limited-edition CD (100 copies only). The physical copy is only available at live shows; the digital copy is on Bandcamp here. An alternate version of this tune will be included on the upcoming Satans Cock album – worldwide release by Wormholedeath Records is expected for mid-2025.
