German alt rock band Letters Sent Home introduced themselves to the public about a year ago when they released their debut album Forever Undone through the US label SharpTone Records. Finnish LUNA KILLS, who are signed to the same label, are now featured on Letters Sent Home’s new single Bloom, which paves the way for the German quartet’s upcoming album Forever Undone (Extended), which will be released in October and will contain some new songs.
“Bloom describes the inner conflict you experience when you’re in love with someone who’s not good for you. You know you should leave, but after every storm comes the sun, and you feel like you need the sun to bloom – so you don’t leave, and the cycle continues endlessly. Our melodic, soft songs combined with LUNA KILLS’ heavy sound created a perfect description of this conflict,” Letters Sent Home states.
Letters Sent Home will tour Europe in the fall following From Fall To Spring, and will also be joined on the same tour by Finnish band Cyan Kicks. LUNA KILLS will also perform at Heinola’s Multamäkifest, Imatra’s PatruunaFest and Hellsinki Metal Festival this summer before their domestic shows in September and a European tour with Bloodred Hourglass in October.
Letters Sent Home is:
Emily Paschke – vocals
Lara Ripke – bass
Robin Werner – guitar
