Metal music in Finland is more alive than ever, the underground scene features bands that could soon find success outside the borders; among them are Artkills, Terromania and Lust for Lily.
Artkills is a modern metal band based in Helsinki that mixes heavy music technicality with catchy and captivating vocal melodies, their latest single “Downfall” was released last May.
Terromania was formed in 2018 in Jyväskylä with the idea of offering intense, dynamic and ambitious heavy metal, the band released their debut album “Nyctophobic” in 2023.
Lust For Lily is a young band formed in late 2022, their music is emotionally driven metal that combines deep and melancholic melodies with catchy and rhythmic riffs, their latest single “Glitter” was released on October 4th.
We had the chance to see the bands live at Monttu New Level in Pori, where all three proved that they are not only talented musicians, but also know how to set the stage on fire.
