Finnish metal band that rocks, Miss Vain released their second EP ‘Sempiternal Drive’ on April 11th 2025 via Inverse Records. To celebrate the EP release, band also unleashed eponymous music video.

Miss Vain proudly presents – Sempiternal Drive – EP (2025).

This release offers a natural continuation to our debut- EP Crocus Biflorus (2023). Sempiternal Drive continues the band’s characteristic, versatile line, and the song material once again has a catchy surface for the consumer of many kinds of music. It tumbles, lurches, whispers and growls, without ever sounding anything but Miss Vain!

Three singles have previously been released from the album – Remedy, Now or Neverland and Demon Spawn, which have received such a flattering reception.

In addition to the aforementioned, the EP contains two completely new songs – The Alchemist and the album’s title track – Sempiternal Drive, for which a music video will also be released on YouTube as the very moment as this EP drops loose!

BIOGRAPHY:
Miss Vain is a five-piece rock band from Tampere, Finland, that drifts in the maelstrom of metal. Their music is a horn-driven energy and catchy melodies with a feathery delicacy.

Miss Vain was formed in 2019 as a two-man studio project. After two lighter pop /rock – songs,  we lowered our tune and in the summer of 2021 Miss Vain grew into a real band… Finally.

Miss Vain’s debut – EP Crocus Biflorus, which was fairly noticed, was released in fall 2023 on Inverse Records.

Our mission is to deliver joyful moments with new awesome songs and live shows to all who are willing to be entertained by Miss Vain’s rumbling tunes.

“This song has absorbed influences heavily from those bands that were on the disc player back in the day when still learning to drink lager. Pretty straightforward playing where finding any deeper meaning falls on the shoulders of the listener.”

“Now or Neverland is a snappy rock-/metal song with a grooving twist! It’s lyrics tell the story of a middle-aged man who is a little confused in his life… Everything is fine, better than fine! But it still often feels like the world is falling on your neck and your head is exploding under the pressure of demands! He begins to yearn for the carefree years of his youth even though he knows, that life is now and life is brilliant, as long as you don’t take it too seriously!”

“Remedy is an emotional song that touches on a difficult but also very familiar feeling for many, when one’s own boundaries become blurred and all of the strenght will be given for pleasing others! “No” seems to be the hardest word and the tenacious nature makes the narrator to prove to himself that he is worthy of his words.

Remedy is aimed to everyone, who too easily identifies him or herself as a helper and supporter, also giving a voice to those who needs encouragement to set their own limits.”
