Nordic Metal Cruise 2026 takes Finnish metal to the Baltic Sea on February 7th – Featuring Swallow The Sun, Impaled Nazarene and Rotten Sound

The ninth Nordic Metal Cruise organized by All Things Live Finland will be back in February. The 24-hour cruise, which will start from Turku on February 7, will feature a great lineup of top Finnish metal acts on the Viking Grace: Swallow The Sun, Impaled Nazarene, Rotten Sound, Balance Breach, Nightside, and the closing DJ duo Stereo Terror.

“It’s amazing that Finnish forces can create a program that meets international standards. There are already a lot of crazy plans for next year’s celebration cruise,” says promoter Toni Törrönen from All Things Live Finland, and continues:

“Nordic Metal Cruise has clearly established its place in the annual calendar of many festival-goers who like comfort, and on behalf of the entire team and Köli Nalle, we would of course like to say a big thank you to them.”

The Nordic Metal Cruise program also includes Relaamo organized by Nummirock and burlesque performances, which will be performed by presenter Satu Katajan and stage kitty Mary Ann, as well as Honey Rocket, Pepper Sparkles, Anna Ivana Julma, Penislow Pallinowski, Tinker Bell, Harley Queen, Wilhelmina af Fera, Ophelia Boom and Trio Kaven.

In addition to regular cruise tickets, Elmu Ry is organizing a package for those traveling from Helsinki on the cruise, which is now available here.

Nordic Metal Cruise will roll on the waves of the Baltic Sea in February 2025 Featuring Anaal Nathrak, Månegarm, Wormwood, Skiltron and Stereo Terror DJ

The eighth Nordic Metal Cruise will be organized as metal start of 2025 on the 8th-9th February on M/S Viking Grace’s journey from Turku to Stockholm and back. Anaal Nathrak, Månegarm, Wormwood, Skiltron and the cruise’s official house DJ duo Stereo Terror will be on board.

The main performer of the evening is the English Anaal Nathrakh, who smoothly combines black metal, grindcore and death metal in his production. The band, which calls itself “necro metal”, released its latest album “Endarkenment” in 2020.

On the other hand, Månegarm is responsible for the comfort of the fans of folk and viking metal on the upcoming cruise. The band, which took its name from the wolf figure in Norwegian mythology, will also celebrate its 30th anniversary next year – after all, the band’s predecessor, Antikristi, was founded in 1995. The album “Ynglingaättens öde”, released the following year, was characterized as the band’s return to “the world’s best pagan metal bands”.

Similarly, the Swedish Wormwood has been operating for ten years now with diverse metal, drawing inspiration from Scandinavian history and themes related to the collapse of society, for example. The band’s album “The Star” was released earlier this year. The band’s wide spectrum of musical influences takes listeners from black and extreme metal through folk to garage rock – without forgetting the importance of melancholic Scandinavian melodies.

Originally founded in Buenos Aires and later rooted in Finland, Skiltron brings a touch of Celtic spices to the waves of the Baltic Sea. Founded in 2004 by Emilio Souto, the band toured hard in Argentina in its early years, where Skiltron has been seen on the same stages with, for example, In Extremo and Korpiklaani, and soon the road also led to Europe’s biggest metal festivals. The band, rooted in Espoo, will do a British tour before the Nordic Metal Cruise at the end of the year.

Stereo Terror, which was part of the first Nordic Metal Cruise, returns due to high demand to entertain the crowd. Stereo Terror acts as the official house DJ duo of the cruise, entertaining the crowd on several occasions – not forgetting the closing party on the main stage of the first night!
