Swedish death metal giant Unleash will release their 15th studio album Fire Upon Your Lands on August 15th via Napalm Records. Ranked as one of the “big four” of death metal, Unleashed promises to be full of power on the new album; furious blast beats, fast riffs and a deep growl.
Unleashed’s upcoming Fire Upon Your Lands album is the band’s 15th album in their 37-year career, and the band continues in a tried and tested line. Combining raw energy and cinematic spices, the studio album is a combination of brutality and timeless heavy metal elements.
“It continues the story of the world of Odalheim, where the warriors of Midgård continue to fight for their way of life against their main enemy, the White Christ. We hope you enjoy this new 11-song Blot, which is full of Viking death metal!”
Unleashed have released the single War Comes Again from the album today, a celebration of resilience, revenge and the unwavering spirit of a warrior.
“When your enemies do everything they can to take everything from you and the situation seems as bad as it can get, you prepare for battle and face the enemy. This is essentially what it means to be a warrior. You know that war will come again… again and again,” the band describes the grim song.
