Finnish rockers Temple Balls are pleased to announce their return with the new single and accompanying video, “There Will Be Blood”, out now via Frontiers Music Srl.
The band stated: “We’re super excited about how this track turned out. Lyric wise, we wanted to give listeners a post-apocalyptic vibe. The song itself is inspired by the movies like Mad Max. The single comes with a badass virtual video created by Kimmo Lesonen from BGMT. The video fits like a glove to the energy of the track. We hope that our fans enjoy it as much as we do! Let’s go!!”

Temple Balls is a high-energy hard rock band from Finland. Over the past several years, the band has stayed busy both in the studio and on stage.
Having opened for legendary acts such as Sonata Arctica, Queen, Deep Purple, and Uriah Heep, Temple Balls has proven it can command stages of any size, from large festival arenas to small club venues. With their electrifying live shows, the band energizes the audience and always leaves fans convinced of their raw talent and unstoppable energy.
The band’s first official single, “Hell And Feelin’ Fine”, was released in September 2016 and quickly received substantial airplay on Finnish Radio Rock. Their debut album, “Traded Dreams”, was recorded at Karma Sound Studios in Thailand in May 2016 and released on February 24, 2017. Produced by Tobias Lindell, known for his work with Europe, Mustasch, and H.E.A.T., the album laid the foundation for the band’s rise in the melodic rock scene.
The fall of 2017 began with a sold-out tour across Finland alongside Battle Beast. That year also marked the band’s debut in Japan, followed by an intense five-day tour of Ukraine. After their Japanese shows, readers of the country’s leading rock magazine, Burrn!, voted Temple Balls as “the second brightest hope”. At the same time, they were also honored as the Newcomer of the Year on Masa Ito’s Rock TV, marking a significant breakthrough on the international stage.
The band’s second album, “Untamed”, was released on March 8, 2019, and was quickly praised by leading music outlets like Soundi and Burrn! magazines. After its release, the band traveled across Europe as special guests of Sonata Arctica, further solidifying their reputation as a powerful live act.
“Pyromide”, the band’s debut on Frontiers and their third album overall, was a true showcase of melodic hard rock, launching them onto the international stage. Produced by the well-known Jona Tee, the album is filled with catchy hooks, pounding rhythms, and anthemic rock ’n’ roll delivered just as it was meant to be. In May 2022, the band kicked off a three-week European tour with Swedish melodic metal giants H.E.A.T., then continued to energize audiences across Finland throughout the summer festival season.
The band released their fourth studio album, “Avalanche”, in November 2023. Praised by both fans and media, the album not only made it onto the Finnish charts but also solidified the band’s reputation as one of the most exciting acts today. Following the release, the band excited audiences with a series of shows across Finland and internationally during the summer festival season, culminating in a successful UK tour in November 2024.
In 2025, the group primarily focused on recording a highly anticipated new album while continuing to engage audiences at select performances, both domestically and internationally, including a festival appearance in Switzerland.

Canadian instrumental prog-metal outfit Phaeton has released their latest sonic whirlwind, “Isochron”, featuring keyboard icon Derek Sherinian (Dream Theater, Planet X, Sons of Apollo). The single offers a high-voltage glimpse into their upcoming third album, “Neurogenesis,” out October 24th via INB Music.
Clocking in at just under five minutes, “Isochron” is one of the densest and most dynamic tracks Phaeton has written in years. It ricochets between killer riffs, Middle Eastern mellowness, and clenched-fist power, all supercharged by Sherinian’s signature synthesizer tsunami that came together with lightning speed.
The band explains:
“Colin reached out, and to our astonishment, Derek agreed immediately. He sent us half a dozen takes the next day, each with different moods and effects. Kevin stitched together a hybrid performance from all of them; we couldn’t choose just one. We’re happy with how this track sounded. There’s a feeling of whirlwind rush we deliberately injected into the tune. If an isochron connects different points where an event occurs simultaneously, then the song itself is that event, stretched across time, Newtonian physics be damned,” says the band.
Listen to “Isochron” ft. Derek Sherinian via its premiere on Metal Addicts HERE.
“Neurogenesis” marks a bold left-field shift for Phaeton. While their self-titled debut album established their identity and sophomore Between Two Worlds expanded it with heavier, more emotionally resonant compositions, “Neurogenesis” takes a more compact and concise approach, though not by design.
“The songs just ended up that way. Even as an instrumental band, our arrangements follow a kind of verse-chorus structure, but instead of vocals, it’s guitar and keyboard melodies that carry the narrative,” the band explains.
Thematically, “Neurogenesis” explores overlapping concepts inspired by the technological singularity, the looming fusion of biological consciousness with robotics and cybernetic implants. Musically, the album blends jazz-fusion sensibilities with prog-metal architecture, inviting listeners to interpret each track’s title and let their imaginations roam.
“It’s not a concept album in the strictest sense, but the ideas do interlock. It’s a cold warning as much as a sober observation. We’re asking: when that happens, will we still be human?” adds the band.
Formed by drummer Colin Righton, who united longtime collaborators Daniel Airth, Kevin Thiessen, and Ferdy Belland, Phaeton has carved out a niche with their “Interplanetary Psychedelic Hyper-Melodic Metallic Prog.” Their sound draws comparisons to Symphony X, Devin Townsend, Rush, Meshuggah, and Gojira, minus the vocals.
“We let the guitars and keyboards do the singing. Live, we’re heavier, crunchier, and thrashier than our polished recordings suggest. It catches people off guard in the best way,” explains the band.
Beyond “Neurogenesis”, fans can look forward to the 22-minute epic “Clouds of Mercury” slated for release as a standalone EP in 2026, and the band’s fourth album “Quartum” expected in 2027. With new material already brewing, Phaeton shows no signs of slowing its cosmic ascent.
For fans of instrumental metal, progressive rock, and sonic storytelling, Phaeton offers visceral thrill and intellectual expansion, song after song after song.

Greek melodic death metal force FLAMECORE presents the official music video for “Only Waste Remains”, taken from their forthcoming self-titled debut album, Flamecore, due for release on October 24th, 2025 through Wormholedeath.
Dark, heavy, and straight to the point, “Only Waste Remains” shows Flamecore at full force. The track blends speed and precision with a crushing breakdown and raw, aggressive vocals—creating a wall of sound that feels both epic and unrelenting. Lyrically, it explores ruin, time, and defiance: a portrait of empires collapsing and voices fading into dust.

Formed by Stathis Lianos and Leonidas Viglakis, the Greek melodic death metal band Flamecore emerged from a collaborative spark between Chania and Athens. Their journey began with a single riff, which grew into the track “Plains of Nameck.”
This initial creative success led to their self-titled debut album, released in February 2025. With a lineup solidified by the additions of Panagiotis Tsopelas and Akis Blazakis, Flamecore brought their vision of extreme, melodic metal to life. Following the album’s release and a series of live shows, the band is now focused on promoting their work with new bassist Panagiotis Mousouras while composing their next chapter.

With “Soul Allegiance”, Spiral Fracture delivers a storm of raw emotion and heavy riff-driven catharsis. A dark, introspective dive into inner conflict, betrayal, and fractured identity, this is metal with meaning — unfiltered and unapologetic.

Pre-save “Grace in Decay”: https://orcd.co/graceindecay
Spiral Fracture is a progressive metal band that bridges the past and future of the genre. Their sound combines thunderous drums, soul-shaking bass, and atmospheric guitar work with a soaring alto vocalist, weaving primal emotion into a precise, genre-defying tapestry. Inspired by the Fibonacci spiral, their music reflects the fractures of modern society through a fusion of prog, rock, death, black, and power metal. With intricate guitar from David Givens, ferocious drumming from Brian Fisher, dynamic bass from Brian Tanner, and the melodic clarity of classically trained jazz vocalist Javier Ramos, the band is a magnetic force live. Now with Extreme Management Group, Spiral Fracture aims to connect with listeners and heal divides, one note at a time.

Czech modern metal band Stellvris has dropped their latest single, “Silence After Violence,” a searing anthem from their upcoming EP “Shatter and Bloom,” set to release on November 7. Produced by Christoph Wieczorek (Annisokay, Caskets) at Sawdust Recordings, the track delivers a visceral punch, confronting the rising aggression in society and channeling it into a cathartic, high-voltage experience.
“We see violence and frustration creeping into younger generations, and it’s terrifying. This song is a wake-up call — a cry for awareness and action,” says vocalist Nicol Hofman.
Founded in 2019, Stellvris has built a reputation for turning pain into power. Their music speaks directly to those battling anxiety, toxic relationships, bullying, and the weight of everyday struggles. With past releases “Upside Down” (2022) and “Persistence” (2023), the band carved out a sound that’s crushingly heavy yet hauntingly melodic, winning fans across Europe and the UK.
But Stellvris is more than just a band; they’re an experience. Known for electrifying live shows that include circle pits, walls of death, and stage dives, they’ve shared stages with Megadeth, Jinjer, The Ghost Inside, and more, and have lit up festivals like Summer Breeze, Brutal Assault, and Basinfirefest.
“Silence After Violence” is the fourth single from “Shatter and Bloom,” a five-track EP that explores destruction, rebirth, and the emotional chaos of modern life. Each song is rooted in real stories, from the scars of toxic relationships to the emptiness of digital escapism, and crafted to empower listeners who need it most.
“Our lyrics come from personal experiences and stories our fans share with us. We want people to feel seen, heard, and stronger after listening,” Hofman explains.
Musically, Stellvris blends metalcore, nu-metal, pop, and electronic elements into a sound that’s as catchy as it is brutal, drawing in even non-metal listeners with melodic choruses and bone-crushing breakdowns. During the recording of the EP, the band even captured a viral studio moment when their guitarist used phone vibrations to create a unique sound, leading to the now-infamous “WAKE UP MOTHERF***ER” breakdown.
With “Shatter and Bloom,” Stellvris continues to push boundaries, both musically and emotionally. The EP closes with a metal reimagining of Nicki Minaj’s “Starships,” proving that even amidst heavy themes, there’s room for joy, release, and celebration.
“It’s never just about the sound. It’s about creating a safe space where pain turns into resilience, and where the silence after violence is shattered by music,” says Hofman.

Polish Legendary VADER Issue Recap of Summer Concerts 2025 and Reveal First Future Plans.
Vader’s Peter Wiwczarek shared:
“VADERMANIAX !!! We ended the summer concert season with three concerts in the last weekend of August. THANK YOU ALL VERY MUCH for wonderful moments and total craziness and Massive Music for organization and great atmosphere on all trips in the summer season 2025 \m/
These were also the last concerts in 2025 in Poland and Europe. Upcoming plans are the Carnival of Death Tour tour in the USA/Canada in October.
Because we and Massive Music are still receiving inquiries about more concerts in Poland – we will try to organize one more weekend in December this year. I hope that in 2026, we will see each other more often at the common craziness in our country. It will be the 20th anniversary of the album “Impressions In Blood”. We will also like to remind you of the wider “Kingdom” (expect a new edition of this title soon). There are also plans for something special that we haven’t done before… but let’s wait for the specifics. The new Vader album will definitely be made next year – but let’s rather expect the release at the beginning of 2027.
Below is a memento KAT cover from the concert in Zamo Pć in August shared from the Janusz Bb collection. Thanks \m/”

The original 11 tracks / 31 minutes of “Litany” were newly re-mastered for vinyl by Wojtek Wieslawski / Hertz Recording Studio and the LP also includes a 16-page booklet with new liner-notes by band leader, guitarist and vocalist Peter Wiwczarek.
The “Litany (25th Anniversary Reissue)” LP is available via Metal Blade Records:

in North America: https://metalblade.indiemerch.com/collections/vader
Vader’s Peter Wiwczarek commented in the liner notes as follows about “Litany”: “‘Litany’ was definitely our fastest and most brutal album ever recorded…This year the album celebrates its quarter-century and we want to remind you of the power of these brutal riffs. The album returns to the stages in full form. Many of the songs haven’t been played since the 2000-2001 promotional tour. Some of them have never been played. I invite you to the world of ‘Litany’! Remember…you enter here at your own risk!”

This is where it starts – the Tuska festival, which will be held in Suvilahti, Helsinki, from 26 to 28 June 2026, has announced the first performers for next summer. The headliners will be announced in two pieces right away:
Bring Me The Horizon, from Sheffield, England, will rightfully claim one of the Tuska 2026 headliner spots. BMTH, which started out as a deathcore act in 2004, is now more of an alternative metal band with electronic and pop influences.
Bring Me The Horizon has carved out its own niche on the path of modern metal and is one of the most significant influences and trendsetters in its genre. The “POST HUMAN: NeX GEn” album, released in 2024, took BMTH’s already huge international popularity to even greater heights, and the band’s fan base continues to grow, one continental-shaking gig at a time.
Bring Me The Horizon’s Tuska show the previous summer was quite the mind-blower, and with the band currently perhaps in a stronger position than ever, it’s worth holding on to your metaphorical and even real hats!
You ordered this and it’s here; Bad Omens is one of the headliners of Tuska 2026. The band had to cancel their European tour in the summer of 2024, including the eagerly awaited Tuska show so this has been awaited!
US metalcore sensation Bad Omens is definitely one of the hottest names in modern heavy music right now. Formed in 2015, the band mixes heavy expression, ripping melodies, and a dark, unapologetic aesthetic. It’s a combination that resonates with many.
With their 2022 breakthrough album “The Death of Peace of Mind,” Bad Omens introduced a new kind of electronic depth and darkness, and its title track went viral on social media, reflecting the explosive growth of the band’s fan base worldwide. Frontman Noah Sebastian’s multi-dimensional voice is the musical core of Bad Omens. The band’s art is simultaneously extremely visual, captivating, and startlingly personal.
Other Tuska 2026 performers who have just been announced include the American metalcore band The Plot In You, the American band Blood Incantation, which plays experimental and psychedelic death metal, the American Queensrÿche, one of the founding fathers of prog metal, Kublai Khan TX, a band from Texas that leans on the tradition of 90s metal hardcore and rolls extremely heavy, the English band Malevolence, who play traditional metalcore, Soilwork, one of the pioneers of melodic death metal from Gothenburg, the American Rivers of Nihil, who play extreme technical death metal, the Finnish band Ensiferum, who spice up their melodic death metal with folk metal influences, the modern Finnish band Bloodred Hourglass, who are at the forefront of Finnish metal, the Swedish messenger of symphonic power metal Majestica, the Australian metalcore phenomenon Melrose Avenue, a genre-breaking combination of mathcore, nu metal and chaotic emo serving up The Callous Daoboys from Atlanta and the Danish Neckbreakker, who carve out old-school death metal with a modern twist.
Confirmed Tuska 2026 performers:
Bring Me The Horizon, Bad Omens
The Plot In You, Blood Incantation, Queensrÿche
Kublai Khan TX, Malevolence, Soilwork
Rivers of Nihil, Ensiferum, Bloodred Hourglass, Majestica
Melrose Avenue, The Callous Daoboys, Neckbreakker
Artists’ performance dates will be announced later.
More programs will be released later this year.

Tuska 2026 3-day tickets, as well as VIP 3-day tickets are now available through Tuska’s official ticketing partners, Tiketti and Lippu.fi.
