Tuska Festival, which will take place in in Suvilahti, Helsinki, the last weekend of June, has announced a slew of new artists to expand next summer’s already diverse lineup.
Tuska Fridays, headlined by Megadeth, featured Swedish industrial metal veteran Pain, led by multi-instrumentalist and producer Peter Tägtgren; Danish hard rock legends D-A-D; Arizona stadium death metal band Gatecreeper; and American rhythmic reggaecore group Aurorawave.
Saturday, headlined by Bad Omens, featured the new Finnish power rock trio HOKKA; theatrical American emo rock band The Funeral Portrait; atmospheric Finnish slow-rockers Swallow The Sun; melodic death metal pioneers Survivors Zero; and electric guitar folk band Kallomäki.
The new names for the closing day, which will conclude with Bring Me The Horizon, are Sara, a pioneer of Finnish alternative rock and metal who just celebrated their 30th anniversary; Kajos, a Nordic folk band inspired by Finnish-Karelian mythology and the powerful force of nature; hardcore punk band Rukous; and Necrotic Ooze, who offer low-frequency death metal in the spirit of the early ’90s.
