Founded in 2006 by French musician Mickael Goyec, Lugubre Cenacle is a solo progressive black metal project now based in Quebec, Canada. Following the 2011 release of debut full-length “Désillusion”, the project entered a refined new era defined by intricate songwriting, atmospheric textures, and emotional depth. Through singles like “Flesh Disguise” and “Sealed Shell of Existence”, Lugubre Cenacle explores existence, perception, and human complexity. Substituting pure aggression for haunting melodies and evolving structures, the music crafts an immersive conceptual journey heading toward a full-length album.
