SHANE LENTZ presents the stunning visualizer for the track “LIMINAL”, a track taken from APHOTIC | LIMINAL | NIHIL EP, out via Wormholedeath.

For the visualizer, Shane captured footage while traveling through the landscapes of Norway—vast, remote, and hauntingly beautiful. The track “LIMINAL” is part of a larger vision: APHOTIC | LIMINAL | NIHIL, a deeply personal and atmospheric release where Shane performs everything himself. From drums to guitar, from composition to final mix, this is his sonic world, built piece by piece.

Zurich’s Metalcore Titans FUELED BY FEAR Announce Third Single ‘Godmade’ from Upcoming EP “Ordinary Evil”

FUELED BY FEAR, the Zürich-based metalcore outfit, continue their momentum with “Godmade”, the third single from their upcoming EP “Ordinary Evil” (out January 30, 2026).

Following September’s “Suffer” and October’s “Edge of Sanity” (stream on https://open.spotify.com/intl-de/artist/6trMH3h5QEeV4RkGJUTKkH), “Godmade” marks the midpoint of a five-month release campaign building toward the full EP launch.

The band has announced an ambitious visual component to the campaign: three music videos will accompany the EP, with “Godmade” set to receive cinematic treatment in March 2026.

“Godmade” drops on November 28th, 2025 on all streaming platforms.

The complete “Ordinary Evil” EP comes out on January 30th, 2026. With their new EP, Fueled By Fear deliver their most mature and uncompromising work to date. The five tracks move between dark groove steamrollers and melodically dense anthems – harder, more powerful, and  more forceful than all previous productions.

The band has sharpened their sound: hardness meets groove, tempo meets aggression, while melodic passages merge with modern pressure. The result is songs with enormous chorus quality and real sing along potential – dark, but irresistibly catchy.

BIO:
FUELED BY FEAR from Zurich have been combining the intensity of metalcore with the melodic depth of melodic death metal since 2011. The band manages to merge melodic passages with grooving rhythms into a sound that can both strike brutally and touch emotionally. Support performances for In Flames, Sepultura, and even Pantera underscore their international relevance. Their debut “Two By Eight” reached #5 on the Swedish rock charts and #22 in Switzerland.

Bloodred Hourglass & Luna Kills live at Brummi, Rauma (Finland) 14.11.2025

Bloodred Hourglass released their seventh album, “We Should Be Buried Like This,” last October. After promoting it with a European tour, they’re now promoting it in their home country as well. Opening for them on this tour is another promising Finnish band, Luna Kills, who released their debut album, DEATHMATCH, last April via SharpTone Records.
We at The Offering had the opportunity to attend the show at Brummi in Rauma.

Luna Kills warmed up the audience with their energetic and engaging show. Talented singer Lotta Ruutiainen captivated the audience with her versatile voice and a stage presence worthy of the most experienced artists.

In addition to playing their new album, Bloodred Hourglass also performed some older songs. The crowd loved every second of their show, forming mosh-pits and fully participating in every single song.

Both bands delivered a flawless, high-quality show that left us wanting to see them again immediately.

Electro Fun Metal Outfit Boum Patat Presents Manneken Pis

Electro-fun metal sensation Boum Patat has released the official music video for their track “Manneken Pis”, taken from the band’s latest album Ma Belgitude, out now via Wormholdeath.

The video is a hybrid experience, combining the raw energy of live performance with the surreal visual universe inside Boum Patat’s mind. Inspired by Brussels’ iconic statue Manneken Pis—a landmark bronze fountain sculpture of a little boy urinating—the clip captures the band’s signature blend of humor, intensity, and inventive storytelling.

Boum Patat breaks new ground in electro-metal, turning cultural symbols into vibrant, high-energy musical statements. “Manneken Pis” exemplifies the band’s playful approach to metal, fusing electrifying riffs, pulsating rhythms, and inventive visuals.

BOUM PATAT is the new electro fun metal project by Belgian musician Olivier Wittenberg, former drummer-composer of Manic Movement. In the 2000s, he toured Europe with bands like Kreator, Moonspell, and Psychotic Waltz, and played major festivals such as Graspop Metal Meeting.

After a long break, he returns with Ma Belgitude, a self-produced solo debut that blends heavy metal, Belgian humor, and old-school electronic sounds. BOUM PATAT breaks metal’s usual codes—serious and absurd at once, mixing groove, industrial, and electronic punch with offbeat themes and playful visuals.

Live, the project becomes a trio with Laurent Soulasse (bass) and Maxime Demulder (drums).

“Every step into the unknown is both burden and awakening.” – Finnish black metal band Valontuoja released the second album ‘Tulesta syntynyt’

Finnish one-man black metal band Valontuoja released the second album ‘Tulesta syntynyt’ on November 14th 2025 via Inverse Records.

LISTEN to the album on streaming services: https://push.fm/fl/valontuoja-tulesta-syntynyt

From the blaze of transformation and the silence of the wild, Valontuoja conjures“Tulesta Syntynyt” (Born of Fire) a melodic black metal odyssey through flame, fate, and solitude.

Rooted in the ouroboric cycle of death and rebirth, this album burns with the intensity of solar flares and the instinct of the hunt. Wolves howl beneath a collapsing sky as destiny tightens its grip, dragging the listener through a world where every step into the unknown is both burden and awakening.

Each track is a rite of passage an exploration of primal responsibility, of finding home in the heart of the wilderness, and embracing the cold clarity of solitude. Here, fire does not only destroy it refines, purifies, and reveals. “Tulesta Syntynyt” is the sound of becoming, where the self is tempered in isolation and reborn in the eternal blaze.

WITHOUT WARNING IGNITE PURE CHAOS WITH “HARBINGERS OF DECAY”

Finland’s rising industrial metal act Without Warning just dropped what might be one of the most brutal tracks of the year: Harbingers of Decay.
Driven by a storm of mechanical chaos, thunderous rhythms, andapocalyptic synths, Harbingers of Decay erupts like a digital plague. This is not just another metal song, it’s a full-scalepurge.
Fronted by the female vocalist Micha whose demonic lows and unrelenting screams could make entire stages tremble. Without Warning proves yet again that brutality has no gender, no boundaries, andnolimits. Her performance on Harbingers of Decay makes you question if she’s even human.
Thematically, the track depicts the rise of the Disciples–theHarbingers–Omega’s followers born from the black venom that poisoned humanity. Their arrival marks the inevitable decay of mankind, arotting civilization collapsing under its own corruption. Omega, who is the core digital entity in the Without Warning lore, is the creator of the harbingers. As an image of her and her relentless thirst for revenge. A perfect blend of industrial precision and primal energy, Harbingers of Decay is a moshpit in sonic form–visceral, unrelenting, and unforgettable.

Without Warning combines inspiration from various metal and electronic subgenres. Creating a fusion that both shakes you with heavy modern features and soft melodic finishes. Without Warning continues to grow as they take their place in the modern metal scene, creating anexclusive brand beyond music. DEVOLVER’s New Music Video “Wraiths” Captures The Camaraderie of Fans Under The Alberta Sky; New Album “Non Compos Mentis” Produced by Mark Lewis (Whitechapel, Trivium, DevilDriver, Black Dahlia Murder)

Canada’s own metal force, Devolver, has dropped a powerful new music video for “Wraiths,” a standout track from their latest album “Non Compos Mentis.” Filmed during an intimate album release show at Grain Bin Brewing, the video captures the raw energy and camaraderie of a night that brought 150 fans together under the Alberta sky, immortalizing a night of celebration, community, and crushing riffs.

“We knew we wanted to do something special. So we had our friend Mike Evans film the show. This music video is for all the people who were there celebrating with us, making it such a special night,” adds the band.

“Wraiths” is a groove-driven, straight-ahead metal track with thrash undertones and a nod to classic rock and metal. Lyrically, it explores themes of mysticism as a bridge to connect with lost loved ones, an emotional depth that complements its sonic punch.

Watch the video for “Wraiths” via its premiere on Decibel Magazine HERE.

Formed in 2015 by guitarist Devin Babcock and drummer/producer Bevin Booth, Devolver has grown from a side project into a full-fledged metal powerhouse. With the addition of Jayde Penner (guitar), Chris Brown (vocals), and Jaylen Elias (bass), the band’s sound has matured into a collaborative blend of Gothenburg-style melodic death metal and early 2000s metalcore.

Their new album, produced by metal heavyweight Mark Lewis (Trivium, Whitechapel, The Black Dahlia Murder), marks a seismic shift in their sound.

“This is what the five of us sound like collaborating as a unit. Mark helped us push this thing over the edge,” adds the band.

The album’s artwork, created by legendary artist Travis Smith (Opeth, Megadeth), is a chilling visual interpretation of the true story behind the title track. It depicts Devin Babcock’s ancestor, Amos Babcock, who in 1805 committed a gruesome murder in Shediac, New Brunswick, during a religious frenzy. The haunting image of Amos in the snow, surrounded by the eyes of his nine children, adds a historical and emotional weight to the album’s narrative.

Devolver’s connection to their hometown runs deep. They partnered with Grain Bin Brewing to create “Brews of the Maw,” a blackberry and blood orange pale ale named after their track “Jewels of the Maw.” And for fans of Magic: The Gathering, the band has hidden lyrical nods throughout the album, including a track titled “Deathtouch.”

Recommended for fans of In Flames, Dark Tranquillity, Killswitch Engage, and As I Lay Dying, “Non Compos Mentis” is a bold leap forward, each track a chapter in a larger emotional and sonic narrative.

Quebec’s HOPELESS NATION Ends Decade-Long Hiatus with Explosive New Video “Silverspoon”

After nearly a decade of silence, Trois-Rivières, QC’s Hopeless Nation roars back into the spotlight with their new single “Silverspoon,” a blistering fusion of hardcore grit and modern metal precision. The track marks the band’s official return and is accompanied by a surreal, AI-generated music video that can be viewed below.

Formed in 1998, Hopeless Nation built its legacy on raw energy, socially charged lyrics, and sweat-soaked live shows. Their 2009 album “Built from Scratch” became a cornerstone of Quebec’s underground scene, backed by over 200 performances alongside acts like 100 Demons, Bane, Lofofora, and Despised Icon.

In summer 2024, the band reunited for a high-energy show that reignited their creative fire. Revisiting unrecorded material from 2014, they began a new cycle, grinding back up from the roots while staying true to their hardcore and metal ethos. That journey culminates in “Silverspoon,” a track that hits hard from the first note and refuses to let go.

“Silverspoon” is immediate, layered, and aggressive, with clean vocal hooks that broaden its reach. Mixed and mastered by Francis Perron (Voïvod, Decayed Remains) at RadicArt, it’s built to dominate playlists and ignite live crowds. Lyrically, it critiques entitlement while celebrating earned effort, themes reflected in its cinematic music video.

The video, created entirely with AI technology, fuses 1960s suburban nostalgia with cosmic adventure. A young boy carrying a silver spoon becomes a cult leader, confronting human space invaders and his own inner darkness, symbolized by a red snake. It’s a bold artistic leap that blends innovation with authentic musical expression.

The single artwork mirrors this tension: a red serpent coiled around a silver spoon, rendered in a haunting, old painting style. It visually ties to the song’s themes and the surreal narrative of the video.

Hopeless Nation’s return is more than a comeback; it’s a tribute. The new planned singles to be released in the coming months honour past members Jonathan Houle (bass/guitar, 2012–2014, 2024) and Maxime Dupont (rhythm guitar, 1998–2014), whose talent and spirit helped define the band’s sound. Their legacy echoes through every riff and lyric.

The band’s lineup remains deeply rooted in the Quebec scene, and Louis-Simon Bellerose leads punk hardcore legends Genetic Error. Steve DC and Guy Provencher represented Canada at Wacken Open Air 2023 with Strigampire, winners of the Wacken Metal Battle Canada.

Known for their no-backing-tracks, lamp-amp sound, and full crowd interaction, their live shows are legendary, often featuring headbanging, chair-throwing, and immersive visual projections that leave fans breathless.

“Silverspoon” is just the beginning. Four more singles, “Disaster,” “My Curse,” “1000 Miles,” and “Predators,” will follow, leading to a full EP. Each track bridges the band’s hardcore roots with modern metal sheen, offering pit-friendly intensity and emotional depth.

For fans of Gojira, Darkest Hour, At the Gates, Lamb of God, and Zao, Hopeless Nation delivers a sound that’s explosive, raw, and relentlessly honest.
