Wormholedeath is proud to present the spellbinding new music video for “Eternal Vows of Midnight,” the latest chapter from symphonic death/black metal force ABSCENCE. The track is featured on the band’s highly anticipated concept album Enigma, set for release on September 12, 2025.
“Eternal Vows of Midnight” is about Eternal love and loyalty, Torment and guilt over a possibly violent past, A love so powerful it transcends death, and the internal struggle not to fall into darkness or lose one’s humanity.
Formed just four years ago, ABSCENCE has quickly earned a cult following by fusing the visceral darkness of ’90s black metal with symphonic elegance and melancholic storytelling. Enigma, the band’s boldest and most cinematic work to date, chronicles a gothic vampire romance—two immortal women entwined in passion, betrayal, and fate—across nine long-form epics.
Unbound by modern formulas, ABSCENCE forges their path with emotionally charged, structurally intricate compositions. Their music balances brutality with beauty, sorrow with grandeur—evoking moonlit crypts, windswept moors, and mythic despair.
With Enigma, ABSCENCE invites listeners into a world of symphonic blackened art that defies commercial boundaries, embracing drama, depth, and darkness in its purest form.
Finnish melancholic metal band Kivisydän invites their listeners into a world where fragility and strength coexist, and where the weight of sorrow feels both crushing and liberating. Melodic, symphonic metal meets powerful vocals and lyrics that delve deep into sorrow, despair, and pain – but ultimately also into hope.
The new single “Suru” (Sorrow) is the third single from the debut album ”Kuoleva Aurinko”(Dying Sun) to be released later this autumn. The album is mixed by Heikki Marttila / Guru Studio and it’s mastered by Miro Kiiski / Miromastering.
”Suru is taken from the calmer side of the upcoming album and is one of the band’s most personal songs. The lyrics tell of the songwriter’s own experiences of the premature loss of loved ones. A beautiful melody cloaked in sad lyrics.”– Kivisydän

Italian modern metal act Secret Rule unveil their powerful new single “Silent Pain”, the third track taken from their upcoming tenth studio album “X“, due out on October 24th, 2025 via Rockshots Records.
Following the energetic “Just a Sacrifice” and the evocative “Echoes of the Earth”, “Silent Pain” dives into the emotional terrain of hidden suffering. With haunting melodies, cinematic arrangements and raw, confessional lyrics, the song captures the invisible battles we fight behind closed doors—where pain is masked by silence and strength is found in vulnerability.
“‘Silent Pain’ is a song I deeply connect with—it’s about giving a voice to emotions we often keep buried. Singing it felt like releasing something I had been holding in for years”, shares vocalist and lyricist Angela Di Vincenzo.
Musically, the track merges heavy grooves with fragile atmospheres, reflecting the duality of emotional turmoil and healing. Guitarist and producer Andy Menario explains:
“I wanted the guitars to echo the internal chaos and quiet desperation behind the lyrics—sometimes heavy, sometimes fragile, just like the human mind.”
As with the rest of the album, the song was entirely produced by the band. Angela Di Vincenzo penned the lyrics and vocal melodies while Andy Menario handled the arrangement, mixing and mastering at Digitall Studio. Drums were recorded at Alpha Music with Andrea Miazzetto delivering a tense yet fluid performance and Sofia Basili adding both depth and vocal harmonies on bass.
Secret Rule’s upcoming album “X” celebrates their tenth anniversary with a bold and contemporary sound, blending modern metal intensity, symphonic textures and electronic experimentation. The album explores themes of collapse, resistance and rebirth—“Silent Pain” stands as one of its most intimate and cathartic moments.
American doom metal band Frayle is back! The band has announced that they will release their third full-length album, Heretics & Lullabies, on October 10th via Napalm Records. The album promises to once again feature dark, haunting tones and eerie atmospheres, combined with heavy riffs and enchanting vocals.
Following their latest single Walking Wounded, which garnered widespread acclaim, the band continues to delight their fans with a re-arranged version of Lana Del Rey’s hit Summertime Sadness. The band’s treatment of the hit song transforms it into an ethereal and shadowy farewell to summer.
“We’ve always been interested in melancholic songwriting, regardless of genre. Summertime Sadness felt right and ours. Our producer added a little break before the first chorus, during which we only hear breathing – at that moment we knew this was something special,” the band commented.
Frayle combines occult-influenced doom metal, blackgaze and Gwyn Strang’s hypnotic vocal style into a distinctive soundscape, complemented by Sean Bilovecky’s crushing guitar work. With Heretics & Lullabies, the band continues their ascent towards the top of their genre.
From the frontlines of melodic death metal, EVOCATUS return with their blistering new single, “To Live by the Sword,” featuring Maude Théberge of Sanguine Glacialis — the latest offering from their forthcoming full-length album Inevitable Death, set for release on August 29, 2025 via Wormholedeath — a thunderous concept record drenched in fate, warfare, and mortality.
Unrelenting from the very first strike, “To Live by the Sword” dives into the psyche of a warrior king — torn between conquest and guilt, forsaking kin in the name of empire, and ultimately seeking absolution on the battlefield. With razor-edged riffing, dual guitar solos, and a narrative arc that blends glory and grief, this track is a towering monument to the eternal cycle of violence and redemption.
The single is an explosive highlight from Evocatus’s most ambitious release to date — Inevitable Death — a concept album where myth meets metal, channeling the spirit of ancient warfare through modern sonic brutality.
Los Angeles-based metal rock force STRYFE return with a gripping new single, “Death of a Kin,” now streaming worldwide via Wormholedeath.
“Death of a Kin” channels the stark imagery of Chinghiz Aitmatov’s The Day Lasts More Than a Hundred Years— where “mankurts” are captives stripped of memory and self—into a hard-hitting, riff-driven track that’s both relentlessly upbeat and laced with brooding intensity, punctuated by flashes of Caucasus-inspired ethnic instrumentation.

One might think that the name Elastic Fono Band would be a kind of a joke. But no. The band behind singer Lance Fono is honestly elastic. If the feeling carries you along, then you’re allowed to press the gas pedal to the floor. The over produced and heavily edited sound of modern music doesn’t sit well with this band. So we set out boldly and freely to play elastic rock’n’roll. Whether you can take it or not.
Elastic Fono Band is a rock band from Oulu in northern Finland. Band members hails from the great countries of Iceland, New Zealand and Finland. The band’s music is based on alternative rock from the 1970s and 1990s. Now the band presents the second single from the forthcoming album.
The new single Androids was written after being frustrated at work (a recurring theme). There’s no deeper meaning. Work sucks but we do it, then we die.
German alt rock band Letters Sent Home introduced themselves to the public about a year ago when they released their debut album Forever Undone through the US label SharpTone Records. Finnish LUNA KILLS, who are signed to the same label, are now featured on Letters Sent Home’s new single Bloom, which paves the way for the German quartet’s upcoming album Forever Undone (Extended), which will be released in October and will contain some new songs.
“Bloom describes the inner conflict you experience when you’re in love with someone who’s not good for you. You know you should leave, but after every storm comes the sun, and you feel like you need the sun to bloom – so you don’t leave, and the cycle continues endlessly. Our melodic, soft songs combined with LUNA KILLS’ heavy sound created a perfect description of this conflict,” Letters Sent Home states.
Letters Sent Home will tour Europe in the fall following From Fall To Spring, and will also be joined on the same tour by Finnish band Cyan Kicks. LUNA KILLS will also perform at Heinola’s Multamäkifest, Imatra’s PatruunaFest and Hellsinki Metal Festival this summer before their domestic shows in September and a European tour with Bloodred Hourglass in October.

Wormholedeath is thrilled to welcome Polish alternative metal powerhouse SAUERKRAUT to its global roster for the release of their explosive new album, In Madness, due for release on 19 September, 2025.
Alongside the announcement, the band unleashes a powerful new statement with the official video for “Symbol of Death”— a crushing, high-impact track taken from the upcoming album. The video showcases the band’s dual-vocal ferocity and chaotic energy in full form, offering a glimpse into the intense world of In Madness.
Formed in 2019 by veterans of the metal and alt scenes, SAUERKRAUT wasted no time carving their place in the genre with their 2022 debut EP, Bloody Stew — a record that introduced their sharp identity: thunderous grooves, dynamic structures, and a livewire energy that translates both on stage and in the studio.
The upcoming album, In Madness, represents the next evolution of their sound. With the addition of a second vocalist, the band has expanded their range, bringing deeper contrast, richer textures, and a more intense emotional spectrum. From brutal breakdowns to infectious hooks, In Madness is a bold, unflinching statement — metalcore and alt-metal done with both craft and conviction.

Finnish rock band Shiraz Lane are pleased to announce the release of their new studio album, “In Vertigo”, out on October 24, 2025, via Frontiers Music Srl. The record will be available in the following formats: CD, digital, white vinyl, and a limited edition gold vinyl.
To celebrate the announcement, the band share the new single and official visualizer, “Come Alive”.
The band commented: “Come Alive” is the perfect summer banger built on an irresistible groove. It’s the ultimate soundtrack for letting loose and living in the heat of the moment”.
“The track has all the elements for a true Shiraz Lane classic – a quirky, distinctive guitar riff, seductive song structure and an anthemic singalong chorus. The explosive production and addictive hooks make it a standout song. With this wild and untamed energy, we invite you to “Come Alive” with us and enjoy the rush of pure Rock N’ Roll!”, they added.
“In Vertigo” marks a bold new chapter in Shiraz Lane’s evolution. It’s an ambitious, modern,
and emotionally charged rock album born from relentless creativity, exploration and
collaboration.
It’s a bold and genre-blending record, produced and co-written once again by longtime collaborator Per Aldeheim (Def Leppard, H.E.A.T, Pain). Packed with razor-sharp hooks, soaring melodies and high-octane attitude, “In Vertigo” pushes the band’s sound into exciting new territory, fusing pop-metal energy with a modern production edge and fearless genre crossovers.
Preceded by the explosive singles “Dangerous”, “Bullsh!t”, and the emotionally charged “Plastic Heart”, the album showcases Shiraz Lane’s evolution while staying true to their raw rock roots.
With Aldeheim’s polished yet powerful production and standout performances by Hannes Kett (vocals), Jani Laine (lead guitar), Miki Kalske (rhythm guitar), Joel Alex (bass), and Ana Vilkkumaa (drums), “In Vertigo” is the band’s most daring and dynamic release to date.
Brilliantly unpredictable and unapologetically melodic, In Vertigo proves that Shiraz Lane is not just riding the wave of modern melodic rock – they’re reshaping it!
Hailing from Vantaa, Finland, Shiraz Lane started their musical journey in 2011. Their vision of a perfect blend of sonic combustion and elegant delicacy started to blossom and reach its potential when the current line-up was solidified in 2014 and the band released their first EP “Be The Slave Or Be The Change”.
The band gained great international attention from the very beginning, and soon the young Finns
were flying from Japan to South America, playing in Europe’s coolest clubs & summer festivals and had their warm first contact also with the US audience on the Monsters of Rock cruise.
Shiraz Lane resonates through their double-edged guitar sound (provided by Jani Laine and Miki
Kalske), percussive ground-pounding clockwork (Ana Vilkkumaa, drums & Joel Alex, bass) and the supersonic melodies chanted by lead singer Hannes Kett. They are one of the most intriguing and entertaining bands in the current Hard Rock scene, bringing in a fresh breeze in terms of both compositions and live performance.
In addition to their debut EP, other most notable releases include the albums “For Crying Out Loud”, “Carnival Days”, “Vibration I”, “Forgotten Shades Of Life” and “Acoustic Archives’’.
Although wearing inspiration and paying homage to their predecessors, the sound and style of Shiraz Lane is unique, bold and contemporary. This has manifested in collaborations such as extensive international touring (sharing stages with bands such as KISS, Deep Purple, H.E.A.T &
Crashdïet), national TV appearances, the gaming world and, most importantly, an exponentially growing & dedicated fanbase around the world.
