Tuska Festival, Helsinki (Finland) 27-28-29/06/2025

This year, The Offering was once again present at Finland’s largest metal festival, the legendary Tuska Festival.
The festival, held in Helsinki’s Suvilahti district over the last weekend of June, drew a staggering 60,000 people.
There were four stages featuring both well-known and lesser-known bands, numerous food outlets, side shows for every taste, live interviews at the Tuska Forum in collaboration with the Bleeding Metal Podcast, and this year, it was even possible to plan your own funeral.
The festival was also partially broadcast live on Finland’s main television network, and some shows can be watched for free here.
Below is the report and photos provided by our reporter Cristina Gregori.

Day 1

The first day of the festival, characterized by mixed weather with periods of rain, drew a record 22,000 attendees.
Among the most anticipated bands were In Flames, Electric Callboy, Dragonforce, Knocked Loose, and Imminence.
Unfortunately, it was not possible to see all the bands at the festival because many overlaped, playing on different stages.

Finnish melodic death metal band Horizon Ignited opened the festival with a strong show on the main stage.

Norwegians Blood Command proved on the Nordic Energy Stage that they rock with their captivating and versatile mix of punk rock and metal and plenty of irreverent energy.

Knocked Loose, hailing from the United States, were one of the most anticipated bands of the festival. They delivered an intense and energetic show on the main stage, unleashing hardcore and metalcore fans in a mosh pit.

DragonForce is a band that needs no introduction. With over 20 years of career and known for their turbo-charged power metal, they brought a show to the Nordic Energy Stage that could only be described as a flood of energy and color. Dragons and video games graced the stage, and speed and technical prowess were the watchwords describing what was seen and heard. Even the flying plush chicken had its moment of glory.

The legendary Cradle of Filth took to the main stage bringing their symphonic black metal and the stage presence they are known for.

Bambie Thug, the artist who achieved great success representing Ireland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 with the song “Doomsday Blue,” had the opportunity to bring her Ouija-pop style to the Radio City stage. Two dancers accompanied Bambie Thug onstage, and the show was a real eye-catcher; the mix of musical genres and the captivating, sensual choreography certainly made an impression.

Electric Callboy were perhaps the most anticipated band of the day. This band, which boldly leaps from genre to genre, combining schlager and deathcore, hardstyle and industrial metalcore, and everything in between, made its entrance onto the main stage with a bang and confetti. There are many words to describe the show, but none would truly be enough to capture what you can hear and see at their shows. If we could define the band, we would say millennial, because it embodies everything millennials love.

Swedish metalcore band Imminence was among the most anticipated bands of the day. Their performance on the Radio City Stage brought a well-balanced combination of darkness, elegance and passion. There is something enchanting about the way the band approaches the stage and plays.

Closing out the first day of the festival were In Flames, pioneers of the Gothenburg sound. A band capable of reinventing themselves album after album, they are one of the most beloved by metal fans, and their ability to balance new songs with classics live is one of their strengths. The show, despite the rain, was incredible.

Day 2

On the second day of the festival, the most acclaimed bands included Powerwolf, Slaughter To Prevail, Orbit Culture, Wind Rose, and The Halo Effect.
This day was marked by controversy regarding the Russian band Slaughter To Prevail, who had waved the Russian flag at a show in the United States a few weeks earlier. Fortunately, the day went off without a hitch, maintaining the spirit of metal.

The first band to perform on the Nordic Energy Stage was Arion, who have made an impressive and steady ascent to the absolute elite of Finnish melodic metal. Energy and melody are the words to describe their captivating show.

Italian power/folk band Wind Rose threw a party on the Nordic Energy Stage. Their stage presence and infectious energy won over the Tuska crowd.

On the main stage, Mokoma, one of Finland’s best-known and most beloved bands, did not disappoint, getting the Suvilahti Arena spinning and creating a pleasant atmosphere.

Gothic rock supergroup Cemetery Skyline, which includes members of Amorphis, Sentenced, Insomnium, Dark Tranquillity, and Dimmu Borgir, performed on the Nordic Energy stage. The contrast between the sunny day and their gothic music was interesting. It was an extraordinary performance.

Orbit Culture is one of the most promising emerging bands on the international metal scene in recent years. The band played their modern melodic groovy death metal on the main stage, leaving no doubt that their future shines brighter than ever.

Countless Goodbyes is not a new name to us at The Offering, as we’ve watched them grow over the years. The band brought a passionate and energetic show to Kvalt Stage, and the audience loved every minutes.

Alcest, pioneers of French post-black metal and black gaze, performed on the Radio City stage as one of the most anticipated bands, and they didn’t disappoint. Their atmospheric, delicate, and raw performance offered an intense and magnetic experience.

From one French band to another, Eihwar have transformed the Kvalt stage into a ritual, transporting the audience to a parallel universe, where they dance to the rhythm of brutal pagan dancefloor music, combining Nordic folk tradition, ritual chants, shamanic drums and surprising electronic rhythms.

Slaughter to Prevail were eagerly awaited by fans, as this was an exclusive show at a European festival and their first ever in Finland. The band is one of the hottest names in extreme metal and left no doubt about their talent on the main stage; the show was something fans will hardly forget.

Progressive rock band Royal Sorrow made their live debut on the Kvalt Stage, and there’s no doubt the band will soon have a huge following.

For fans of melodic death metal, one of the most anticipated bands was definitely The Halo Effect. The band, comprised of former members of In Flames and led by Dark Tranquillity frontman Mikael Stanne, impressed the audience with their performance on the Nordic Energy Stage.

Powerwolf were undoubtedly the most anticipated band of the day. Their theatricality and generous use of impressive stage props transformed the main stage into something unique. Corpse paint and flawless power metal made the show unforgettable.

Day 3

A storm was forecast for the third and final day of the festival, and to make the area safe, the organizers decided to remove anything that might pose a risk, such as the screens on the sides of the main stage. Fortunately, the day turned out to be excellent, with sunshine and a bit of wind. This day also opened the doors to younger metal fans, with minors able to enjoy the festival and see their favorite artists until 6 p.m. Among the most anticipated bands were Lorna Shore, Motionless in White, Nothing More, Whitechapel, Kim Dracula, and Apocalyptica.

Cyan Kicks brought their catchy radio hits to Tuska for the first time. The band rocked the Radio City Stage audience with their infectious energy, delivering a flawless show.

Finnish industrial metal gems and presenters of sick disco, Turmion Kätilöt, brought the party to the festival’s main stage. The band did not disappoint their fans, putting on a show like only they know how.

Lights to Remain bring together the best parts of 90’s melodic death metal mixed with 00’s metalcore. The band performed on the Kvalt stage and did not leave anyone cold with their energetic performance.

Kim Dracula emerged from TikTok, creating metal covers of non-metal songs, and is now one of the most anticipated artists. What was seen and heard on the Radio City stage was something unusual, a mix of diverse influences, moments of jazz and death metal. An unforgettable and unusual show.

Apocalyptica need no introduction: they took to the main stage to promote the follow-up to their legendary debut album, where cellists from Helsinki’s renowned Sibelius Academy played a symphonic tribute to the greatest of the Big Four: heavy metal titans Metallica. Even those who are less familiar with the band were able to join in and sing along to Metallica classics. The show was a veritable explosion of energy.

Whitechapel have always been among the absolute pinnacles of deathcore, and they finally made their mark at Tuska. The band performed on the Radio City stage, perhaps a little too small for the audience due to the tent. The show was intense, giving fans an unforgettable experience.

The Vantages, a young Finnish band, enchanted the audience on the Kvalt stage with their irresistible mix of vintage guitar rock and gothic nostalgia from the turn of the millennium.

The last band to grace the Kvalt stage was Noiduin, a dark folk band from the west coast of Finland. The band, which builds all its instruments by hand, enchanted the Tuska audience with the rhythm of their shamanic drums and the dark echoes of folk that filled the air. It was a show that will go down in history.

Closing out the festival was the most anticipated band: Lorna Shore. The band needs no introduction, having made waves in recent years thanks to their exceptional results and an album that many considered groundbreaking. The show showcased the talent of the musicians, particularly singer Will Ramos and guitarist Adam De Micco, all accompanied by pyros. During their performance there were at least three circle pits, this show how loved this band is.

Tuska is considered a safe festival by those who attend, where people can be themselves, free from preconceptions and prejudices. The audience is a mix of black and brightly colored outfits, giving free rein to their imagination and making the festival even more unique and unforgettable. Being a unicorn, a fairy, or a demon is possible during the three days, and there’s nothing more beautiful than seeing all these beautiful people express themselves and be part of an incredible community.

Finnish Prog DARKNESS IS MY CANVAS New Single “Ink In The Water” Off New Album “The End Of Times” Out Aug 2025

With Ink In The Water, Finnish alternative/progressive rock band Darkness Is My Canvas showcase their most instinctive and unpredictable side. The track is the latest single taken from their upcoming debut full-length The End Of Times”, due out August 1st, 2025 via Rockshots Records.

Originally written in a matter of minutes during a spontaneous studio session, “Ink In The Water” captures the band’s no-rules approach to songwriting. “We just felt like doing something fast and upbeat,” the band recalls. “The lyrics were literally transcribed from Pete’s first take on the demo. When we listened back, we knew it had something special.

A bold dive into post-punk and pop-punk territories, the song stays true to the band’s emotional and melodic core while introducing a refreshing twist. Short but impactful, “Ink In The Water” reflects the band’s ongoing refusal to stick to a single genre. “If a song demands a certain approach, we go for it without hesitation. Genre doesn’t matterwe just serve the song”.

Like other tracks on “The End Of Times,” the single balances spontaneity with depth. Its tight structure, punchy rhythm, and unapologetic tone reveal a new side of the band’s sonic identity—one that is vibrant, immediate, and still unmistakably Darkness Is My Canvas.

Omnium Gatherum headline North American tour in November – Featuring Aether Realm and Hinayana

One of Finland’s most active world-touring bands, Omnium Gatherum, will release their May The Bridges We Burn Light The Way album later this year and will soon head out on their own long-distance tour of North America. The tour, which includes a total of 27 shows across the continent, will start on November 16th in Boston and end on December 14th in New York. The tour will also feature North Carolina-based melodic death metal band Aether Realm and Texas-based Hinayana, who operate in the same, even heavier waters.

Omnium Gatherum was last seen touring North America with Insomnium in 2024 and before that with Eluveitie the previous year and on the band’s own extensive tour in 2022. All tickets go on sale on Wednesday, July 16th.

“We are excited and grateful to be able to play the May The Bridges We Burn Light The Way album live in November. Over the years, we have gained a huge number of friends and fans in North America, and touring a huge continent is always an adventure. Also in this time, it feels important to hopefully bring people a momentary escape from reality, which can feel oppressive at times,” the band says.

Omnium Gatherum previously announced their May The Bridges We Burn Light The Way European Tour for next year, and the band’s first single from the upcoming album, The Last Hero, was released last month. The upcoming album is particularly meaningful for the band, which was founded in Karhula, Kotka, in 1996, taking listeners back to the basics.

“Although the lyrics of the upcoming album are not autobiographical, they echo everything we’ve strived for – from street corners, screaming metal and dreaming big. It feels nice to be able to say that some of those dreams have actually already come true,” Markus Vanhala sums up.

Finnish rockers Rust N’ Rage are pleased to share the new single and lyric video “Songs Of Yesterday”, title track of their upcoming new album set for release on August 22nd, 2025, via Frontiers Music Srl.

The band said: “Songs Of Yesterday” shows a bit more melodic side of us and our upcoming album, paired with an anthemic chorus that gets you singing along in seconds! It’s an emotional dive into a story so many of us are familiar with”.

About the new album, they added: “Songs Of Yesterday” is an ultimate collection of nasty riffs and tasty hooks; all forged in the fires of adrenaline filled rock n’ roll! These tracks are sure to get your head banging, so give it a spin and play it loud!”

Through lots of hard work and gigging, Rust N’ Rage have been starting to make a name for themselves in their home country of Finland. With energetic live shows and anthemic songwriting, this rock n’ roll quartet is ready to introduce themselves to the world more than ever before.

Coming from a small Finnish town called Pori, Rust N’ Rage are four musicians – Vince, Johnny, Jezzie, and Eddy – who share a common passion for rock n’ roll. Initially playing individually around their town, it didn’t take long for them to unite under a shared musical vision.

Drawing inspiration from ’80s legends such as Guns n’ Roses, Judas Priest, Mötley Crüe, and Dokken, the band has crafted a sound rooted in classic hard rock but with a fresh and personal twist.

The band’s debut album, produced by Jimmy Westerlund (One Desire), was filled with hard-hitting, melodic tunes. In 2020, things accelerated for the band as they found a new manager and teamed up with a new producer to bring their vision to life.

Now, their latest release, “Songs Of Yesterday”, produced by Olli Anttila, is the band’s defining statement – a high-energy dose of rock packed with powerful anthems, memorable choruses, infectious guitar solos, and explosive rhythms. It’s a celebration of their influences, but also a testament to their identity and evolution as a modern hard rock force.

“Songs Of Yesterday” Tracklist:

1.    One For All (All For One)
2.    Songs Of Yesterday
3.    Just Like Brothers
4.    Hey Jane
5.    Gone But Never Forgotten

Rock icon Glenn Hughes unveils new video “Voice In My Head” from upcoming new album “Chosen” out September 5th

Rock legend and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Glenn Hughes is pleased to unveil his new single and accompanying lyric video, “Voice In My Head”, taken from his upcoming studio album “Chosen”, set for release on September 5th, 2025, via Frontiers Music Srl.

This year will also see Glenn Hughes busy touring across Europe and South America, with “The Chosen Years” tour starting in Zoetermeer, Netherlands, on September 2nd, and ending on November 29th in Bogota, Colombia. For the full list of dates, please see below and HERE.

About the new single, Glenn commented: “Voice In My Head” tells the story of what’s goin’ on in my subconscious mind. It’s a song that most definitely needed to be written. Very therapeutic.
We all have “this voice”. Observe, recognize and be a witness, & let go…”

Pre-Order “Chosen”

Commenting on the new album, Glenn stated: “Songwriting is deeply personal to me, and l generally write and record when I have something to say. It’s been nine years since I recorded my last solo album, “Resonate”. There have been recordings and collaborations with other artists, since 2016”.

“When writing “Chosen”, I went back to my life drawing board, writing about the human condition, love, hope, faith and acceptance. I write about how I feel on the inside and not externally. My life is lived from within, in the present moment. It’s an album of soul food, and I’ve never been so grateful, right here, on planet earth. Music is the healer!”, he added.

Vocalist/bass guitarist/songwriter Glenn Hughes is a true original. No other rock musician has carved such a distinctive style blending the finest elements of hard rock, soul and funk. That astonishing voice is his calling card. He’s known as a singer’s singer. Stevie Wonder once called Glenn Hughes his favorite white singer.

After a nine years hiatus as a solo artist, Glenn Hughes is back with “Chosen”, his brand-new solo record: an album which presents Glenn in his most hard rockin’ fashion. An explosive record that offers Glenn Hughes at its absolute best with a state-of-the-art album, both from a songwriting and production standpoint. A truly captivating return!

Glenn Hughes, a native of Cannock, England, absorbed all kinds of influences, including early British hard rock, the Beatles and, most importantly, American soul and R&B. The sleek Motown sound from Detroit and the gritty Stax/Volt sound from Memphis left their mark on him.

Glenn Hughes first found success in the early ’70s with the band Trapeze, before joining Deep Purple in 1973 during a pivotal lineup change that introduced him and David Coverdale to the group. Despite initial scepticism, the revamped band silenced critics with the release of “Burn” (1974), a powerful album that revitalized Purple’s sound and remains a classic.

During this era, the band headlined the iconic California Jam in front of over 300,000 fans, toured the world aboard their private jet The Starship, and released two more studio albums, “Stormbringer” and “Come Taste The Band”, before disbanding in 1976.

Glenn’s first solo album “Play Me Out” was released in 1977. He joined former Pat Travers guitarist Pat Thrall to form Hughes/Thrall, which released an acclaimed self-titled album in 1982. Throughout the ’80s and ’90s, Glenn Hughes made countless guest appearances (both credited and un-credited) as a vocalist, bass guitarist or songwriter on other artists’ albums. The endless list includes – among others – Gary Moore, John Norum, Tony Iommi of Black Sabbath.

Since 1992, Glenn has started a prolific solo career with a dozen studio albums where he explored all the different sides of his songwriting and influences: from hard rock to funk and more contemporary sounds. He collaborated – among others – with such musicians as Chad Smith (RHCP), Dave Navarro, John Frusciante and many others.

He also founded or took part in some amazing musical alliances such as California Breed (with Jason Bonham and Andrew Watt), Black Country Communion (with Joe Bonamassa) and The Dead Daisies.

Glenn has collaborated with Robbie Williams on his new single “Rocket”, which was released on May 22nd, 2025. The track also features a collaboration from Tony Iommi and will be the first time Glenn has been featured on a record with Tony since 2005, when they released “Fused” together.

Glenn Hughes has also recently joined forces with Satch Vai, a new collaboration by legendary guitar icons Joe Satriani and Steve Vai, by writing and singing on their new single “I Wanna Play My Guitar”.

“Chosen” Tracklist:

1.    Voice In My Head
2.    My Alibi
3.    Chosen
4.    Heal
5.    In The Golden

Burghâsh Unleashes Blackened Manifesto La tríada dels idiotes via Wormholedeath

Catalonia’s old school black metal emissary Burghâsh rises from the ashes of Burgûli to deliver a savage new chapter with their first official EP under the new moniker: La tríada dels idiotes, out on 29 August 2025, via Wormholedeath.

Forged in 2025 as the ideological successor to the decade-spanning entity Burgûli (est. 2012), Burghâsh is not a reinvention—it is a spiritual weapon sharpened through years of misanthropic creation. Seven releases under the Burgûli name carved their presence deep into the underground with raw sonics and caustic anti-theistic themes, culminating in a linguistic and conceptual turn toward their native Catalan.

Now, with La tríada dels idiotes, Tar-Mairon doubles down on the venom. Across three unrelenting tracks, Burghâsh launches a serrated critique of the so-called “holy trinity” of Abrahamic faiths. The EP is a hate-fueled triptych that drags sacred dogma into the dust and dissects it with contempt.

Grainy analog recording techniques give La tríada dels idiotes its corroded, tomb-cold texture—every riff a rusted blade, every howl an echo from a crumbling altar. The Catalan tongue becomes both cultural anchor and sonic dagger, delivering each word with historical resonance and irreligious fire.

Burghâsh emerges as the purified essence of what Burgûli once was—stripped of compromise, baptized in distortion, and focused entirely on confrontation. La tríada dels idiotes is not just an EP—it’s a spiritual autopsy, composed for those who see faith not as salvation, but as the oldest poison in the bloodstream of mankind.

ABOUT:
Stygian Fair is a band from a small town called Umeå in the north of Sweden. The band has existed for about nine years now, and it all started when both P-O Jonsson and Emil Holmqvist decided to leave a band called ” Crave” to lay the foundations for Stygian Fair. Erik Andersson joined on bass, and Andreas Stoltz on lead vocals and guitar. This first incarnation of the band never made a big mark, recording or gig-wise… due to life’s crooked path.

In the autumn of 2016, Erik left the band, and a few weeks later, so did Andreas as well. Soon thereafter, the band gathered new momentum by welcoming Anders Hedman as the new powerhouse bass player. After a couple of auditions, Pontus Åkerlund became the new singer, and with this setting, the band recorded and launched an EP named “Into the Coven”. The band began playing live frequently at different local venues. At the end of August 2018, the band entered the studio again, and in October of the same year, came the debut “Panta Rei”. In January 202,0 came the sophomore album “Nadir” and in April 2021, “Equilibrium”.

In September 2021, Pontus Åkerlund decided to leave the band. A few weeks’ search for a new vocalist led to the return of Andreas Stoltz as lead vocalist and guitar player, after his years in Binary Creed and Hollow. In late 2022, Stygian Fair entered the studio once again to record ten new powerful songs with Stygian Fair’s trademark strong melodies. It is titled Aradia after the witch daughter of Diana, the goddess of the hunt and the moon.

Now it’s time for a new chapter with a new album due in 2025 with Rockshots Records.

HYPERSONIC Unleash Crushing New Lyric Video “YOU BASTARD” feat. Francesco Paoli (Fleshgod Apocalypse) From New Album “Kaosmogonia,” Out Now

Italian symphonic metal band HYPERSONIC push their sound to new extremes with the release of their latest single “You Bastard”, featuring the devastating vocals of Francesco Paoli, frontman of extreme symphonic death metal titans Fleshgod Apocalypse.

Taken from the band’s acclaimed third album Kaosmogonia, “You Bastard” is one of the heaviest and most emotionally charged tracks of the record. Musically, it delivers a relentless barrage of blast beats, crushing guitars, dramatic orchestration and male choir vocals recorded by the prestigious Teatro Massimo Bellini in Catania (Italy). The song dives deep into themes of rage, justice, and despair, portraying a father’s fury and anguish over the violation of his child’s innocence.

The lyrics, written by Emanuele Gangemi, carry a raw emotional intensity, mirrored by the extreme and symphonic arrangements crafted by band founder and drummer Salvo Grasso. The duet between Francesco Paoli and Eleonora Russo brings an explosive contrast between fury and fragility.

Hypersonic comment:

“This song is pure chaos and fire. We imagined a desperate and furious father speaking directly to a monster, full of pain, anger, and madness. Having Francesco on vocals was the perfect way to translate that extreme emotional charge into music.”

NEXT SHOW:
29.08.2025 Metal Escalation 2025 (Schloss Stuppach // Austria)

Hypersonic‘s musical evolution has been shaped by intensive listening, arrangement studies, and a commitment to self-awareness. Their symphonic metal draws influences from various aspects of their lives, resulting in a sound that is rich, dynamic, and wholly their own.

“Kaosmogonia” is a total musical experience deeply connected to Greek philosophy. The title, a fusion of “Kaos” and “Cosmos,” represents the dual nature of humanity—chaotic and ordered. The album explores the interplay between chaos and cosmos, mirroring the Greek understanding of the world.

The album goes beyond the musical realm, delving into the complexities of human emotions, reflections on life, and the impact of historical events. It aims to express the spectrum of human experiences, from restlessness and melancholy to hope and the positive aspects of life.

The lyrics of “Kaosmogonia” were born during a period of historical darkness, reflecting the emotions and challenges faced by humanity. The lockdown served as a catalyst for introspection, inspiring the band to confront human weaknesses such as depression, fears, and unhealthy relationships, while also expressing hope for a better future.

“Kaosmogonia” is not just an album; it’s a musical odyssey that invites metal enthusiasts to explore diverse sonic landscapes, cinematic arrangements, and profound storytelling. The album features by Mark Jansen (Epica), Francesco Paoli & Francesco Ferrini (Fleshgod Apocalypse), Emma Zoldan & Nils Courbaron (Sirenia), the male choir from Teatro Massimo Bellini (Catania-Italy) and more. The artwork was created by the great graphic designer Heilemania (Epica, Kamelot, Lindemann, Turilli/Lione Rhapsody).

Fans of Epica, Fleshgod Apocalypse, Dimmu Borgir, Nightwish, and Septicflesh will find a rich and diverse sonic experience that goes beyond the genre’s conventions.

KHROMA RELEASES THEIR FOURTH ALBUM IN AUTUMN – FIRST SINGLE “CATCH THE WHIP” OUT NOW

Catch The Whip, Khroma‘s first single from their fourth album to be released in October 2025 showcases a renewed side to the Helsinki-based alternative/electro-metal band’s sound. Hip hop and drum’n bass influences have been brought to the surface, and electro elements have been added to give a 2020s feel.

Khroma’s sound of low-pitched grooves, cinematic machine elements and vocal performances from soloist Riku Rinta-Seppälä‘s whispering to screaming is still recognisable, but Catch The Whip twists the single knobs with its catchiness.

Formed in 2010, Khroma has released three albums and toured Europe more than 10 times. The band’s fourth self-titled album will be released in October 2025.

Melodic Death Metal War Machine EVOCATUS Joins Forces With Wormholedeath

Wormholedeath is proud to announce the signing of one of Australia’s most commanding underground forces: EVOCATUS. The Hunter Valley-based melodic death metal quintet have inked a deal with the label for the worldwide release of their long-awaited new album, Inevitable Death, on August 29, 2025.

Emerging from the scorched battlefields of New South Wales with a bloodstained banner of thrash, death, folk, and symphonic might, Evocatus wield melody and brutality in equal measure. Their latest sonic campaign, Inevitable Death, marks a monumental leap forward—expanding on the saga outlined in 2020’s Path to Tartarus with an epic, war-scarred offering of blistering riffs, sweeping orchestration, and lyrical odes to fate, myth, and warfare.

Produced once again by Ryan Huthnance at Emissary Studios, Inevitable Death captures the sharpened edge of the band’s evolving sound. Fans of Kreator, Amon Amarth, and Machine Head will find familiar fire here, but with an identity that is unmistakably Evocatus—tight, towering, and unapologetically intense.

“We are beyond thrilled—and admittedly relieved—to finally unleash this beast,” the band declares. “INEVITABLE DEATH is the culmination of five years of blood, sweat, and beers. With WORMHOLEDEATH now standing beside us, we’re honoured to present this album to the world. We raise our horns to you, our friends, family, and fans, for your unwavering support over the years and in making this album possible. Here’s to ‘Inevitable Death’, and the tales of battle, myth, triumph, and death within—be prepared for a journey through the ages!”

Wormholedeath’s Carlo Bellotti praises the album as a bold and singular statement:

“It is very difficult to find precise influences, because the conceptual level of the compositions ranges between various stylistic strands, keeping in a very precise way, centred and very focused on a certain Death Metal with a Melodic vein. The project has a lot of personality, thanks also to fluid writing and an absolutely convincing execution. The experience gained over the years is clearly evident. The album has no weak points thanks to unquestionable compositional skills. This is the decisive union that gives you a unique stylistic imprint that always maintains a high maturity and intensity. The songs as well as the project itself, have their own specific identity that is extremely personal. The vocal work is awesome, as well as all the instrumental parts. Guitars and the rhythm section are powerful, and they do a great job in the composition and arrangements. I haven’t listened to a record of this sound matrix for a long time.”

EVOCATUS are:
Nich Shields – Vocals
Vaughan Jones – Guitars
Callan Douchkov – Guitars
Brad Delforce – Bass
Adam Watts – Drums
