Rust N’ Rage announce new album “Songs Of Yesterday” set for release on August 22nd

Finnish rockers Rust N’ Rage are back with the brand new album “Songs Of Yesterday”, set for release on August 22nd, 2025, via Frontiers Music Srl.
The band are pleased to unveil the first single and accompanying video, “One For All (All For One)”, available now.

Pre-Order “Songs Of Yesterday” HERE

Describing the new single, the band commented: “It’s time to face the revolution with our brand new heavy-hitting single! So, dive into our world of rock n’ roll, where we truly are One For All and All For One!”

About the new album, they added: “Songs Of Yesterday” is an ultimate collection of nasty riffs and tasty hooks; all forged in the fires of adrenaline filled rock n’ roll! These tracks are sure to get your head banging, so give it a spin and play it loud!”

Through lots of hard work and gigging, Rust N’ Rage have been starting to make a name for themselves in their home country of Finland. With energetic live shows and anthemic songwriting, this rock n’ roll quartet is ready to introduce themselves to the world more than ever before.

Coming from a small Finnish town called Pori, Rust N’ Rage are four musicians – Vince, Johnny, Jezzie, and Eddy – who share a common passion for rock n’ roll. Initially playing individually around their town, it didn’t take long for them to unite under a shared musical vision.

Drawing inspiration from ’80s legends such as Guns n’ Roses, Judas Priest, Mötley Crüe, and Dokken, the band has crafted a sound rooted in classic hard rock but with a fresh and personal twist.

The band’s debut album, produced by Jimmy Westerlund (One Desire), was filled with hard-hitting, melodic tunes. In 2020, things accelerated for the band as they found a new manager and teamed up with a new producer to bring their vision to life.

Now, their latest release, “Songs Of Yesterday”, produced by Olli Anttila, is the band’s defining statement – a high-energy dose of rock packed with powerful anthems, memorable choruses, infectious guitar solos, and explosive rhythms. It’s a celebration of their influences, but also a testament to their identity and evolution as a modern hard rock force.

Alternative metal band ODC’s new video “My Only Fan (feat. SUN) out now

French alternative metal band ODC are excited to share their new single “My Only Fan (feat. SUN)”, out now via BLKIIBLK.

Following the raw vulnerability and melodic intensity of their previous single “Love, I Tore It Apart”, the band now takes a darker, more provocative turn with “My Only Fan (feat. SUN)”.

With its intense contrasts, cutting-edge production, and unapologetic emotion, “My Only Fan (feat. SUN)” pushes ODC further into their own distinctive universe of modern metal.

Commenting on the track, the band stated: “This song merges sharp, syncopated riffs with sleek electronic textures and two commanding female voices – a haunting lead by Celia Do (ODC’s frontwoman) and a raw, unrestrained scream from SUN, the featured guest. It’s dark, cinematic, and seductive, diving into the blurred line between desire and obsession. The track explores themes of control, exhibition, and emotional detachment, dressed in the atmosphere of neon-lit nights and luxury gone sour”.

Stream “My Only Fan (feat. SUN)” HERE

ODC is the soundtrack of a hybrid generation. A sonic uppercut, balancing raw power and elegance.

Born in Paris in 2017, ODC is the result of two worlds coming together: the world of Celia Do, a vocalist with a striking identity, and that of a composer driven by the same fire – the desire to create an alternative metal project that breaks free from conventions: bold, modern, and uncompromising. From this spark, a true sonic and visual odyssey emerged.

ODC – named after Celia’s stage name acronym – became a totally creative space, where heavy riffs, catchy melodies, and contemporary electronic textures collide in a unique blend of raw energy and polished aesthetic. ODC is a bold blend of metal, modern rock and immersive electronic atmospheres.

Inspired by artists such as Devin Townsend, Breaking Benjamin, Linkin Park and BMTH, ODC doesn’t fit in any box. The band asserts its own voice — powerful, hybrid, sharp and emotional.
Their songs are modern mantras, telling stories of freedom, downfall, and resilience. Music that hits hard — and hits deep. A constant dialogue between introspection and explosion.

The band is built around four distinct artistic personalities: Celia Do (lead singer, founder and producer, the rock frontwoman of the band), Sonny, a.k.a. MX MNK (a bassist with roots in hardcore and black metal, and a rapper with visceral energy). Then, Raphaël (an 8-string guitarist blending classic rock, hard rock, and atmospheric textures), and Hector (a drummer forged in the death metal scene, delivering explosive rhythmic power).

After a well-received debut EP in 2019 (“Ending The Boredom”), ODC carved their path through a series of powerful singles between 2020 and 2023, asserting their hybrid identity and ability to break genre boundaries. In 2024, the project took a major leap forward: writing their first full-length album, produced in Nashville by Kellen McGregor (Memphis May Fire).

Guitarist and Songwriter Andrzej Citowicz Releases Heartfelt New Single ‘The World I’ll Hold For You’ – An Intimate Ballad Dedicated to His Unborn Son

Former DownBoys Records recording artist ANDRZEJ CITOWICZ has released his most personal and emotionally charged single to date, “The World I’ll Hold For You,” a stunning power ballad dedicated to his unborn son. The track serves as the lead single from his highly anticipated upcoming album “Living Room Rockstar Part 2” and acts as a special invitation to an exclusive EP that will be released soon.

The song emerged from a profound life moment when Citowicz and his wife discovered they were expecting their first child at what he describes as their “special age.”

“When we found out we were expecting, I couldn’t help but write music about this incredible journey,” Citowicz reflects. “How could I not write for him? Every word in the lyrics, every single note means more than the world to me. I’m overwhelmed with joy knowing that this song will probably become the soundtrack to my future son’s life story.”

The deeply personal ballad showcases Citowicz’s evolution as both a guitarist and songwriter, drawing inspiration from his songwriting heroes including Desmond Child and Jon Bon Jovi. “Musically, this represents a beautiful meeting between my own style and the influences that shaped me as a songwriter,” he explains. “It’s honest, it’s vulnerable, and it comes from the deepest place in my heart.”

Adding special significance to the release is the contribution of longtime collaborator and dear friend Patryk Szymanski, who has supported Citowicz’s musical journey for more than a decade. For “The World I’ll Hold For You,” Szymanski not only provided his signature bass work but also took on mixing and production duties for this special power ballad.

“I cannot be more grateful to Patryk,” Citowicz says with genuine warmth. “He’s been by my side through this incredible journey for over ten years, and having him not just play bass but also mix and produce this particular song makes it even more meaningful. His friendship and musical partnership have been invaluable gifts in my life.”

For Citowicz, having Szymanski’s involvement extends far beyond the technical aspects. “Patryk understands my musical vision like no one else,” Citowicz explains. “When I told him about this song, about what it means to me as a future father, he immediately knew how to help me capture that emotion. That’s the beauty of a friendship that spans over a decade – he doesn’t just play or produce, he helps me tell my story.”

The acclaimed guitarist, known for his distinctive style and emotional depth, admits to feeling both humbled and excited about this new chapter. “You know, I never imagined I’d be writing lullabies disguised as rock ballads,” he laughs. “But here I am, a soon-to-be dad, pouring my heart into music that I hope will mean something to my son someday. Life has a funny way of surprising you with the most beautiful gifts.”

The single serves as both a preview and special invitation to fans for the upcoming exclusive EP, which will be released soon, followed by the highly anticipated full album “Living Room Rockstar Part 2.”

“I’m incredibly grateful for this moment in my life,” Citowicz concludes. “To be able to create music that comes from such a pure place, to have friends like Patryk who support the journey, and to be preparing to welcome my son into the world – I feel blessed beyond measure. This song is my promise to him, and I can’t wait for the world to hear it.”

Looking ahead to “Living Room Rockstar Part 2,” Citowicz hints at the deeply personal nature of the upcoming collection. “This album represents a new chapter – becoming a father, reflecting on life, and finding beauty in the intimate moments. The special EP coming soon will give listeners a taste of what’s to come, but ‘The World I’ll Hold For You’ really sets the emotional tone for everything that follows. It’s going to be a journey of the heart, and I’m excited to share it with everyone who has supported my music over the years.”

About Andrzej Citowicz:

As a former recording artist for DownBoys Records, Citowicz has built a reputation for his distinctive guitar style and emotionally resonant songwriting. Ethan Henry (Freya, The Last Season) Reveals First Single “A New Way To Die” From One-Man Solo Band ASHES OF THE SUN’s Debut Album “Gods With Machines”

Drummer and filmmaker Ethan D. Henry is proud to announce his first solo effort, ASHES OF THE SUN, and its debut album “Gods With Machines” due out August 1st, 2025, via his label Ignorant Tourist Productions

Henry is best known as the drummer of hardcore titans FREYA (2004 – 2008, 2017-present), featuring EARTH CRISIS members Ian Edwards, Eric Edwards, and Karl Buechner, along with co-writing and performing on the THE LAST SEASON 2003 album “Called It Civilization”.

Henry has worn many hats over the years in his bands. Whether he needed to play bass, guitar, or drums, he was always up for the challenge.

“I was always a bass player with guitar second in my comfort zone. I could always sing, but I wasn’t like great at it. I don’t know when it happened, like when I became good enough to play any instrument, if we needed a drummer or guitar player, I was like…Okay, I’ll give it a shot. Then one day I was a drummer, I guess? I think I have impostor syndrome. ha”

Over the years, Henry had compiled a huge catalog of songs he had written. Unsure what to do with them, He sat in his studio and started to record them. Not sure what would become of them. He had his friend Jason “Jocko” Randle at CAPTURE STUDIO (Syracuse, N.Y.) to take a listen and put his mixing and mastering touch on it. After those sessions, Ethan decided his eclectic song list was cohesive enough to make an album. Thus, ASHES OF THE SUN was born.

“After recording about a dozen songs, I developed solos and vocals for them. I felt the way I played the solos and sang would help bring the songs together and could make the collection work as a full-length album. I’m very happy with the way GODS WITH MACHINES came out. It’s simply the way I play and write, and shows some of my influences in the metal/rock/grunge/alternative scene and how they blend together. The vision for this album was to have a flow like some of my playlists, and I imagine most people’s playlists. I hope that fans will enjoy the mellow acoustic/ballad intros that transition into hard rock/ metal flows. I wanted these songs to reach rock fans and metal fans alike. I’ve been in metal bands for a long time and love the brutality Karl and Dan brought to Freya and The Last Season, but I wanted to reach a broader audience. So I chose to tone the heavy vocals back and sing the album. I think ultimately, whether it’s my metal, rock, or grunge influences coming through in these songs, it sounds like the era of music I grew up listening to. late 90s, early 2000s. I like that about this record,” adds Henry.

The nine tracks on “Gods With Machines” were written, performed (drums, guitar, bass, vocals), and produced, along with the album artwork, all by Ethan D. Henry. Overall, the album is ultimately about having faith in God and constantly questioning it. It expresses feelings of being misled by those you admire and trust. It’s about being yourself and finding your spiritual path and God.

On this particular album, my lyrics are about an alien race that lands on a planet after destroying their world. Realizing the people are looking to the sky for heaven, they pretend they are gods and take advantage of the natives, steal their resources, and live in their paradise. Eventually, the people rebel against the gods after years of abuse and lies. They overthrow the gods and realize they aren’t what they claim to be,” says Henry.

Bringing fans back to the era where metal and hard rock ruled the scene, and Headbangers Ball was kicking, Ashes of the Sun reveals the first single “A New Way to Die”. Henry explains the track:

“The chosen one is lost and giving up. He has lost his faith and doesn’t have the drive to carry on when he hallucinates a child taunting him. He cannot catch the child and continues to follow deeper into the wild. Eventually, he concludes this is the end and there is no hope. No one will find him. No one will save him. There is no heaven. We live in hell. What’s the point of going on? It’s time to throw in the towel.”

Omnium Gatherum’s The Last Hero single heralds May The Bridges We Burn Light The Way album later this year

One of Finland’s most active world-touring bands, Omnium Gatherum, today released their first single The Last Hero from their upcoming album. May The Bridges We Burn Light The Way will be released later this year.

The Last Hero is accompanied by a now-released video shot with director Jari Heino. The video also features behind-the-scenes footage, shot by Brendam McGowan.

“’The Last Hero’ gives a great glimpse into the upcoming album, which promises to be more powerful and groove-filled. This song is the story of an old-school street hero who never gives up and keeps fighting for the sake of fighting. That unyielding attitude is admirable, but at the same time it can also prevent you from seeing and solving situations outside of the fight itself. This is a theme that can also be easily seen in many people’s real lives,” says Markus Vanhala.

Omnium Gatherum, who toured Australia with Insomnium in the spring, have already announced a European tour for next year, named after their upcoming album. They will be touring Europe with Fallujah from the US and In Mourning, the messengers of melodic death metal from Sweden.

Vanguardian Video Interview

Vanguardian, which rose from the ashes of Inkvisitor in 2019, set its starting point on the idea that the members do everything as a collective, combining into a seamlessly functioning machine. The studio built in collaboration with Jami Honkala and Ville Mikkola gave the band the freedom to work on the upcoming full-length album exactly as it was envisioned – without compromising on schedules and artistic freedoms.
The band, which cherishes its independent production, has developed its constantly refined output year after year towards a more threatening and raw essence, both musically and visually. The seamless groove and sharp ensemble playing have also convinced the audience on the live stage, and the career worked with reverence is taking Vanguardian towards international stages.
We had the chance to chat with the band before their show at Meara Klubi in Pori and find out more about their upcoming album, gigs, music video and much more.

NY metal & hardcore legends Biohazard share new video “Forsaken”

BIOHAZARD, renowned for their aggressive style and socially conscious lyrics, has been a seminal force in the hardcore and metal scenes since their formation in the late 1980s. Their unique blend of hardcore punk, heavy metal, and hip-hop elements has garnered them a dedicated fan base and critical acclaim. BIOHAZARD’s signing with BLKIIBLK marks a new chapter in their illustrious career, promising exciting new music and projects.

“What started as three reunion shows of the OG lineup turned into three unstoppable years of kicking ass on stage night after night! Now we’re back with a new record that hits with all the classic BIOHAZARD energy, louder and harder than ever,” comments guitarist/vocalist Billy Graziadei.

Today, the band shares their first new music in over a decade with the release of a brand new single entitled “Forsaken.” A staple of their recent Euro/UK headlining tour and a certified mosh pit favorite, the track offers a first taste of their forthcoming album (TBA). Honoring their old-school roots while pushing forward, “Forsaken” arrives with an energetic live video directed by Billy Graziadei, filmed on tour as the band debuted the song to packed crowds across Europe.

Bassist/vocalist Evan Seinfeld on the new single:

“We shot this video in Amsterdam, at Melkweg, an iconic venue where BIOHAZARD first made our bones in Europe back in the late ’80s and ‘90s. It’s really organic, and a little sample of the energy of our first new album in 15 years, performed in a live setting. Make sure you’re strapped in and prepare for some real mayhem when our new album drops!” –

Stream / Listen to “Forsaken” HERE

Musical pioneers in every sense of the word, BIOHAZARD were one of the first bands to seamlessly blend hardcore, heavy metal, punk, and hip hop into an intoxicating genre all their own. After more than a decade away, the Brooklyn, NY band’s OG lineup reunited in 2023 to both fan fervor and critical acclaim, headlining the opening night of the legendary Milwaukee Metal Fest for their first show back. Ghost Cult Magazine said they “explosively unleashed their fury with fortitude and force” with “a superhuman set and an awe-inspiring show.”

The band followed with two sold-out hometown shows in New York City, a late-summer festival run in the UK and Europe, and a fall direct support slot with Megadeth across North America. That was just the start. They returned to Europe and the UK in 2024 for the early summer festival season – including a headlining slot at Download – and made their triumphant return to South America in spring, then returned home to blow out America’s exploding festival circuit.

Their return did more than turn heads; it caused whiplash, and they partnered with BlkIIBlk Records to record and release new music. More incendiary and relentless than ever, the trailblazers have a fresh outlook and revitalized spirit. This is more than a reunion – for bassist/vocalist Evan Seinfeld, guitarist/vocalist Billy Graziadei, guitarist Bobby Hambel, and drummer Danny Schuler, it’s a revitalization and rebirth.

BIOHAZARD are:
Billy Graziadei – vocals/guitar
Bobby Hambel – lead guitar
Danny Schuler – drums
Evan Seinfeld – vocals/bass
