Swedish heavy rockers Sparzanza are approaching the long-awaited release of their album From Dust To Darkness. The album is due out on October 3rd via Despotz Records.

The final single from the upcoming album, the hard-hitting “Fear The Night”, was released last friday, accompanied by a lyric video that fits the dark theme.

The song is a dark and melodic masterpiece, where Sparzanza takes the listener into the worlds of darkness, loneliness and primal fears.

Vocalist Fredrik Weileby proves that he is in the best shape of his career, and bassist Johan Carlsson gives credit to the band’s guitarist for this:

“Our guitarist Magnus Eronen has now been working as a recording engineer, and he has developed the whole band, especially when it comes to the songs. He knows exactly when and how to push the best possible performance out of Fredrik.”

Sparzanza is approaching the release of their new album From Dust To Darkness. The album, which will be released later this year, will be published by Despotz Records. Sparzanza have released a new single from their upcoming album, Bloodborn, which represents the band’s core expertise – heavy riffs, dark melodies and thought-provoking lyrics.

“Bloodborne delves into themes such as darkness, fate and the struggle for existence. This song captures the core of Sparzanza’s unique sound. The lyrics of the song are full of strong imagery and emotional depth, inviting the listener to explore the darker recesses of the human psyche,” the band says.

The upcoming album From Dust To Darkness is a significant milestone in the long-time band’s career. It is their first full-length album since Announcing The End, released in 2017. The pandemic gave the band a long-awaited break, which the band said was able to stretch out a bit.

“Just as our tour was over, the pandemic hit the world. One might think that a forced vacation would awaken the band’s creativity, but we have been working on this band together for two decades and needed a break. The break may have been a little longer, but creativity is not a given and it took time for all of our members to get it back. We would like to thank our fans for their patience, because we know how long the wait has been. However, we have needed this pace of work in order to be able to offer you the absolute best music we can ever create,” the band sends their greetings to their fans.

Swedish metallers Sparzanza are re-activating on the release front after a long break. The new single ‘The Blinding Absence of a Light’ is pure Sparzanza, without forgetting catchy melodies or a massive metal sound barrier.

“The song captures the feeling of what it feels like when there is no light in the world and when all hope feels distant. This song has everything that is essential for us; power, melodies and heavy riffs. If Sparzanza works like that, this one will definitely take off too,” says vocalist Fredrik Weileby.

The single was produced by the band’s guitarist Magnus Eronen, and fellow guitarist Calle Johansson says how important it was to get the same intensity in the composition that can be found in the lyrics.

“The riffs are heavier, the drums are stronger and the sound in general is more aggressive than we have ever done before.”
