German dark metal masters Nachtblut will release their new album ‘Todschick’ tomorrow, but they’re already getting a head start, as the new melancholic and lonely ‘Das Leben der Anderen’ music video is now available.
“When was the last time you scrolled through social media for hours, seeing more perfect vacation photos than the other and filtered faces that meet the standards of beauty? Have you ever asked yourself why everyone else is so flawless and living an exciting life – everyone except me? If so, this song is for you,” the band says.
The new album, released via Napalm Records, is the follow-up to their 2020 album ‘Vanitas’, which reached number 19 on the official German charts, and the success story is now being continued with a nearly sold-out tour that also starts tomorrow.

The upcoming album pays homage to the 1980s synth sounds, among many other elements. The album was produced by Lord of the Lost frontman Chris Harms, who has just released his own solo album.
“Todschick is an album where death defines the rhythm and where the line between fiction and reality blurs with every note,” the band describes.
