SUPER MONSTER PARTY is a band for all video game nerds, jump’n’run enthusiasts, metalheads, 90s kids, weirdos, and everyone in between – a metal band that’s all about video games, singing from the heroes or villains introspective point of view. Lead guitarist Oleh Andrievsky has certainly trained his fine motor skills to a level of perfection, contributing his genius long distance from Ukraine. His lively turbo guitar riffs resemble the fast-paced gameplay of Sonic and the lyrics of “Blue Hurricane” take you back to those moments in your childhood when you had to stay home sick and would just play video games all day and diving into these little pixelated dimensions made everything suck a little bit less. Except of course when you encountered the evil scientist Dr. Robotnik and were faced with the responsibility of preventing the Eggman from taking over the world. Rocking together since 2020, SUPER MONSTER PARTY have already gathered a lot of XP, having a bunch of achievements under their belt, such as four released albums: Permadeath (2020), SideQuest (2021), Game Genie (2023), and Up, Up, Down, Die (2023). The band is the concept of singer/songwriter Rei Sega and features notable members Emilio Martinez (Yngwie Malmsteen) on bass, Fern Lemus (Lions at the Gate) on the drums, Andy Alvarez (Irras One) on rhythm guitar, and Oleh Andrievsky as lead guitarist.

Their intense, melodic, catchy, and heavy sound shows influences of The Misfits, Rhapsody, Slipknot, NOFX, and Van Halen. LUNA KILLS: Worldwide recording deal with SharpTone Records, new single and video released

LUNA KILLS is the first Finnish band to sign a worldwide recording contract with the American SharpTone Records. The record company works with top names in metalcore and alternative metal, whose includes Make Them Suffer, Polaris, Loathe, Don Broco and now also LUNA KILLS.

“It’s great to be able to announce our recording contract with SharpTone Records! They purposefully support the individuality of artists, both musically and stylistically, and that fits perfectly with our way of thinking. It’s cool to be able to start a new era with them”, commented LUNA KILLS.

The powerful new single “Slay ur enemies” is now being released through SharpTone Records, which in the band’s characteristic style combines dark experiences with wild energy. The single was mixed and mastered by Jeff Dunne (Make Them Suffer, Knocked Loose, Ice Nine Kills, Disturbed).

“The song describes the inner dialogue and feelings during a panic attack. As a rule, the text illustrates the inconsolability of the feelings, but also the will to fight and the attempt to endure the nightmare in question and get through it,” describes the band’s singer Lotta Ruutiainen.

The music video for the song was produced by Guilty Visuals.

“The music video combines the song’s lyrical theme of panic, anxiety and the related inner dialogue and stays true to the band’s characteristic nu-metal/y2k aesthetic. The video tried to create the feeling of being captured with tight cuts, angles and shooting props.”

About: After a couple of self-produced works and a first album (“Chaotic Age”) Embryo found its sound and recorded “No God Slave” (2010) with producer Simone Mularoni. The album received very good reviews and led the band to play new gigs in Switzerland, Germany, and Italy and be part of Kung Fu Factory’s Supremacy MMA videogame soundtrack with 2 songs. In 2014 Embryo first recorded a promo at Atomic Stuff Studio with Oscar Burato, then, in May, the band recorded the new self-titled cd at Domination Studio with Simone Mularoni. During the summer they played the main stage at Masters of Rock in the Czech Republic and Total Metal Festival in Italy. In October Embryo signed a deal with logic(il)logic Records for the release of the album and the reissue of “No God Slave” with some bonus tracks. In December the band made a little tour in Eastern Europe. The new album “Embryo” came out on the 10th of February 2015. The album received great reviews worldwide and Embryo started a European tour in May with Melechesh, Keep of Kalessin, and Tribulation. After a great show at MetalFest in the Czech Republic in July, the band joined Nile and Suffocation for the second part of their European tour in September. In 2016 the band has been part of the second leg of the “What Should Not Be Unearthed” Nile tour with Melechesh and Mithridatic. Embryo finished the recordings of the new album in January at Domination Studios again with guru Simone Mularoni. The band played at the 2017 edition of MetalFest in the Czech Republic on Sunday, June 4th, and signed a deal with Art Gates Records for the release of the 4th studio album “A Step Beyond Divinity” which came out on the 27th of October 2017 in Spain and the 24th of November 2017 in the rest of the world. The album has been enthusiastically reviewed entering the 2017 best albums of the year charts in various webzines all over the world. In November 2019 the band joined “The Last Atonement European tour” supporting Immolation, Ragnarok, and Monuments of Misanthropy for all the shows. In December the band released a free download digital EP including the new song Misguided legacy and three live songs taken from a live show of the band. In 2020 the famous drummer George Kollias (Nile) joined Embryo in the writing of the new album. TZIMANI Rock Out A “Haunting” New Single Off Upcoming Album Out “I Feel Fine” Out November 2024

Breaking out with their self-titled debut EP in 2018, San Diego, USA’s Eddie and Seb Vazquez brother duo that makes Tzimani are excited to announce their first full-length album entitled “I Feel Fine” set for release this coming November 15th on Glory or Death Records (Vinyl) and Noize Cartel (Digital).

Picking up right where the 2018 EP dropped off, “I Feel Fine” features the same elements of catchy hooks, clean rhythms, and dynamic vocal lines. However, there are bits of deviation when it comes to injecting new elements. Fans will hear an added synthesizer for some of the tracks, an exploration into AOR rock, and some expressions of today’s modern music scene for this collection of eight songs of their finest hour adds.

Drummer Sebastien Vazquez comments:

“You know those albums that you listen to over and over again and you just know when the first song hits your sense of familiarity, nostalgia, warmth, and comfort? That is what we are trying to encapsulate. The album is straightforward heavy metal mixed with modern elements with a dash of AOR and we feel it is the best representation to show everyone what we are capable of. We are also trying to represent the future of the band and give everyone an entry into some of the larger questions that we struggle with and how we choose to represent that with our songwriting. We are not the type of band that is capable of singing about stories, dragons, and swords, but we excel at writing tunes that people can genuinely relate to and connect with.”

Releasing the album’s first single “We Stand and Fight” this past July, Tzimani, is unveiling its next preview to the record with the track “Haunting”, a song about toxic relationships and people having the courage to walk away from them. The song is infused with a driving synth-heavy pulse that not only carries the mid-tempo piece with elegance and eloquence it also pieces it all together with a melancholy timbre. It is one of Tzimani’s favorite songs to play and it really opens the dynamic capabilities of the band and what they can achieve sonically.

“This is the next song we are releasing to genuinely hype the release of the record and we feel that it is the most dynamic piece we have ever released given the nature of the added synthesizer part alongside a melancholic atmosphere. It still has all the parts that make the song a Tzimani tune with a heartbeating rhythmic riff with layers of change all throughout the piece. The drums and how they accompany the overall orchestration of the arrangement do a good job of providing energy during all of the key moments of the song as it transitions from verse to chorus to solo break, to solo. It has been a live staple for us for a couple of years now and we are eager to see the response of how folks receive it. For us, we wanted to put together a mid-tempo song that kept things fresh and we really think we were able to do that with Haunting.” adds Sebastien Vazquez.

Written by guitarist Cheetah Chrome and Pere Ubu’s David Thomas, during their earlier tenure with Cleveland legends Rocket From The Tombs, “Sonic Reducer” was first recorded by Chrome’s next band, punk icons The Dead Boys in 1977, for both their debut single and their first album, Young, Loud and Snotty.
Immediately it was hailed one of the definitive New York punk anthems, its incendiary roar only further enflamed by one of the essential NY punk guitar riffs, unleashed by Chrome himself.
“Cheetah Chrome is literally the Last Man Standing,” raves The 69 Eyes’ Jyrki 69.  “A rock’n’roll guitar legend with a recognizable and unique sound that has influenced all the new generations of guitarists. PYTHONIC Twist Together Thrash Metal And Groove On Debut EP “EP 1”

The wait is finally over for those who have been following one of Canada’s newest thrash bands, Pythonic, as they release their debut EP “EP 1” this week on September 27th. Featuring five explosive tracks, it captures the essence of Pythonic‘s evolution over the years. From the politically charged opener “Positive Deconstruction” to the epic closing track “Epica”, the EP offers a powerful listening experience that reflects the band’s journey and growth. They comment on the release:

“Pythonic is ecstatic to finally be releasing our first set of recordings. We have been working diligently over the years to perfect our craft to bring it to the masses. What our craft can be described as we have always left that open to interpretation. All of these tracks have been circulated through our live shows enough, it almost feels like releasing a greatest hits album.”
