Der Schnellste, a Finnish rock band performing in German, released their first EP – Delve into the adventures of James Bond, the thrills of ski jumping and weather phenomena

Der Schnellste is a new Finnish rock group performing in German. The band’s lyrics deal with German phenomena and issues, sometimes in a humorous way.

The group was born from the common thoughts and fun of singer Affe Kleinblatt and guitarist Arno Pferd. Musically, the band is somewhere between rock and metal.

The band will release the Meereswetter EP on 30.1. The four songs of the EP tie together the wonderful soundscapes composed by Sami Haavisto.

The band’s first single “Geschütelt Nicht Gemischt” combines James Bond movies together. The song praises the German dubbing culture and the 125th anniversary of the American ornithologist from whom Ian Fleming got the inspiration for the name of the famous agent.
