Shiraz Lane Interview

2022 looks to be a good year for Finnish rockers Shiraz Lane; first they toured Europe with Crashdïet, then last June in Helsinki opened for Kiss, and on August 12th released their third full-length album “Forgotten Shades Of Life”. After their performance at Knotfest in Turku, we had the opportunity to have a chat with Hannes & Miki to discover all the nuances and details behind this latest album,talk about the experience with Kiss and much more.

Nightwish interview

Nightwish is the most successful Finnish band in the world, with over 10 million records sold and more than 60 gold and platinum awards received. Their latest album “Human.: II: Nature” was released in 2020 and was supposed to be promoted by a European tour that was postponed due to the pandemic. Now they are working on a new album that will see light in 2024, meanwhile the band continues with the tours. We at The Offering had the opportunity to sit down with Tuomas Holopainen and Kai Hahto before their show at Knotfest in Turku and talk about their music, future plans and much more.

Knotfest Finland, Turku 12-12/08/2022

We had the opportunity to be present at the first edition of Knotfest Finland. The festival was held at the Artukainen event park in Turku and was organized by Fullsteam Agency. The large area allowed to host 30,000 spectators, resulting sold out on the second day. On the first day, on the two stages we saw Timo Rautiainen & Trio Niskalaukaus, Bloodred Hourglass, Stam1na, Sara, Arch Enemy, Lähiöbotox, Lamb of God, Huora and as final Nightwish. On the second day Blind Channel opened the dances followed by Shiraz Lane, TesserAct, Stoned Statues, Cradle of Filth, Medeia, Bring Me The Horizon, Moon Shot, the long-awaited Slipknot and at the end Huoratron.
