To celebrate the announcement, the band share the new single and official visualizer, “Come Alive”.

Finnish rock band Shiraz Lane return today with their new single and official visualizer video “Plastic Heart”, out now via Frontiers Music Srl.

The band will be touring in the upcoming months, performing at the Lisää Löylyä Festival in Finland, before embarking on a UK tour, with support from XIII Doors, starting on June 19th in Bornemouth, and wrapping up on June 27th in Wanclockhead. More dates will follow after the summer.

Talking about the new single, the band stated: “Plastic Heart” is a straightforward, all-out hard-rocking track, a nod to the more traditional Shiraz Lane sound. Fuelled by fierce, flaming riffs and scorching melodies, the song delivers its theme with full force. The drums and bass keep the engine roaring, driving the track forward with unstoppable energy”.

“Plastic Heart” is a musical outburst against deceptive, fake, and snakelike personalities – especially those who hide their true intentions behind a guise of kindness”, they added. “This is the song to get you pumped up for the summer season, igniting any festivity with its aggressive, untamed and raw energy”.

The band will be touring in the upcoming months, performing in Tampere (FI) on April 18th with support from Block Of Flats, and appearing at Wildfest in Belgium on May 24th.

Shiraz Lane, who announced their international deal with Frontiers Music Srl earlier this month, releases the first single from her upcoming studio album, Dangerous, today.

‘‘Explosive and seductive, Dangerous is the first single release from our upcoming album in its own right. The song is like a compass towards a renewed soundscape and at the same time a perfect example of what Shiraz Lane means in 2025″ the band describes.

Both Dangerous and the entire upcoming album were made in collaboration with producer Per Aldeheim, the same man who also conjured up the sounds of the band’s most successful releases to date, Carnival Days and Vibration I.

The release is accompanied by a music video filmed and edited by Juho Virinkoski (Rytmivisuals), which captures the atmosphere of the song in a minimalist way.

“The inspiration for the video came from a scene in the movie Joker: Folie á Deux, and we think this landscape fits the elegance of the song perfectly.”

Shiraz Lane will travel to the United States next week and from there to the Caribbean to perform on Monsters Of Rock cruise, and the band  also  announces a tour in the United Kingdom next June. Two festival shows have been supplemented with club dates around the island nation.

Shiraz Lane, one of the leading exports in the Finnish rock scene, is starting 2025 with great album news. The band’s new studio album will be released later this year, and the first single Dangerous will start the journey towards the upcoming full-length on February 26th. At the same time, the band is returning to the field with the Frontiers Music Srl label, which is responsible for the international release of Shiraz Lane’s upcoming album.

Shiraz Lane will head to the United States for the third time in early March on the Monsters of Rock cruise, performing on the waves of the Caribbean with legendary rock greats. After the tour, the band will return to studio work with their producer Per Aldeheim at Finnvox and Stockholm, but will also be playing a few select shows in Finland and Europe this spring and summer. The last show related to the Acoustic Archives EP release will be played on Saturday this week.
