Alestorm released the final single “The Storm” from their album “The Thunderfist Chronicles” to be released on Friday

Scottish pirate metal band Alestorm have released the third single from their upcoming album The Thunderfist Chronicles. The album will be released this Friday via Napalm Records. The single, which was released yesterday with a music video, unleashes a tidal wave of crushing riffs and epic melodies in Alestorm’s signature boisterous style. The song features big choruses, rum-scented melodies and the band’s signature wild energy.

“Our new song ‘The Storm’ is about the furious, bubbling power of molten asphalt. It’s hot, sticky and unstoppable – just like our music. One night we were drinking a bottle of Creme de Menthe and arguing about the road surface when it dawned on us: nothing screams pirate metal quite like molten asphalt and industrial paving. Hail Ve-Eplu,” Christopher Bowes paints.

The Thunderfist Chronicles tracklist:
1. Hyperion Omniriff
2. Killed to Death by Piracy
3. Banana
4. Frozen Piss 2
5. The Storm
6. Mountains of the Deep
7. Goblins Ahoy!
8. Mega-Supreme Treasure of the Eternal Thunderfist

With international tours and last year’s Voyage of the Dead Marauder EP, Alestorm continues to spread the riotous chaos. Alestorm’s live performances have become legendary – the band turns every stage into a full-blown pirate party, and the no-holds-barred stage show includes rubber ducks and crowdsurfing on boats.

Christopher Bowes – Vocals, Keytar
Gareth Murdock – Bass

Alestorm’s new single Killed To Death By Piracy released with music video

Alestorm, who are sailing to the top of the heavy metal world with their wild pirate metal, are preparing to release their 8th full-length studio album. The album will be released on June 20th by Napalm Records.

The first single from the album, Frozen Piss 2, was released last month, accompanied by a music video. Today, the band is already on the verge of releasing their next single, Killed To Death By Piracy. The song will be accompanied by a joyfully animated music video.

“This song hits hard! Sharp riffs, brash vocals, and lyrics that incite death, destruction, and pirate madness will captivate the listener. The song is accompanied by a completely over-the-top music video that is as outrageous as the song itself. Raise your sails and prepare to die like a pirate!”, the band commented in their press release.

Along with Killed To Death By Piracy, the band also wants to draw attention to the conservation of swans.

“Several species of swans – such as the Tundra Swan and Whooper Swan – face serious threats due to habitat loss, climate change and power lines. Fishing weights are also a risk due to potential lead poisoning. They are incredible birds and vital to wetland ecosystems. Please consider supporting conservation efforts such as the work of the Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust,” says Christopher Bowes.

Alestorm, the Scottish pirates are back with new music! There will be fast-paced drinking rallies, pirate vibes and sing-alongs that are suitable for both the corner of the pub and the festival stage. The 8th full-length studio album, following the chart-topping Seventh Rum of a Seventh Rum album in both Europe and the United States, will be released on June 20th. It will be released by Napalm Records.

The first single from the upcoming album, Frozen Piss 2, was released today.

‘Frozen Piss 2’ is the first part of a three-track trilogy on the album, which combines the songs into an epic tale of a cursed treasure created by forgotten Sumerian gods, hidden beneath the streets of Bournemouth. The other songs in the trilogy are ‘The Storm’ and ‘Mega-Supreme Treasure of the Eternal Thunderfist’. These songs intertwine, and together they reveal ancient eldritch knowledge that will melt your brain.
